Walking distance from the beach and the room is facing the river. However the room is outdated with broken fixture and could use a coat of paint. The property is charming by itself, just need a refresher to lighten it up.

We had an amazing stay! The staff was very friendly, the service was fast, the breakfast was delicious and featured a great variety of choices. The hotel is located close to the restaurants, stores, and the beach. Highly recommend!

This was our first time staying at this property and it was amazing. The front desk staff were wonderful and friendly and the whole vibe of the hotel was just fantastic!

The staff was wonderful and breakfast was great. Poolamd gym areas were unusually small.

The hotel is nice, clean, with great amenities. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Most of our interactions were with Amadeus and he was amazing! Very pet friendly, we’ll definitely be back. We unfortunately had to check out a day early because our dog got sick, the front desk was understanding and accommodating.

The area was very quiet and within easy walkable distance to the beach. The riverfront view is nice too, though the balconies aren’t really that big. The breakfast provided was good, and the staff were very attentive and friendly.

Downtown next to River within 2 blocks of beach.

Great stay will definitely be back!

The Kathryn was an amazing stay! Our stay included free cookies and free salmon chowder after 5pm. We were happy with our room and the view was downright beautiful. Our small private balcony was right on the water. The breakfast was top tier and everything was clean but the shower had some mildew and we could smell it every time we walked in. Overall we’re happy with our stay! Another side note is there was no smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.

Very dirty. The sheets were dirty on the edges, old furniture, every time I sat on the toilet felt like it was going to break, very dirty behind the single couch.

Great location right down from the beach good eating, and front counter. Staff was awesome.

Positives are that it was clean and very close to downtown Seaside and the staff were very friendly. However, we have a few complaints. We were registered for 3 days yet their was only a one day supply of towels in the room assuming that we needed to use and save for three days, yet there were no towel racks in the bathroom except a small one for hand towel. The shower had no grab bars in it all all, and he jacuzzi tub had np grab bars either making it extremely hard for my husband to get out. Needless to say he did not use it again. I resent their lack of housekeeping services. Whn you pay over $200 a night one expects some simple services!

Everything was great..location, services, and accommodations. Would definitely stay again.

Stuff is always the best and the amenities is just rock. Great continental breakfast and walking distance to everything we came for.

Excellent choice for friends and family. It was so quiet and relaxing, granted we were there on a Sunday night. Beautiful views of mountains and the river, I had so much fun taking pictures for my Instagram here :) The breakfast is really good for being free. I liked the snacks and the refresher drinks that they had ready for the guests; not too many hotels do that these days. The staffs are very pleasant. The pool was under renovation but didn’t bother us because we’d rather go for a walk to the beach anyway.

Needed to wait to check in - no one was at the desk for at least 10 minutes. Bed sheets are not clean.

Lovely, even take your address in case you forgot something and I got it back!

This place was nice enough, but the pool and hot tub were broken and we weren't informed ahead of time. Also, the river is more of a canal. It's definitely not worth the price.
