Central location. Near/ walking distance to attractions and eating establishments.

Liked the proximity to the Grand Place and other restaurants and shopping. Upscale hotel. Bed was comfy. One of the individuals at reception had very poor English but tried hard. Air Conditioning was not effective. One of the dresser drawers was broken and wouldn't close and then the handle broke off. Mosquitos in the room (second floor). Coffee maker only dispensed small volumes of coffee.

A return visit, having stayed here several times before.

Location of hotel is good and central. Disappointments are having to pay / hold 200Euros for our one night stay when room is fully paid for prior via Expedia. Staff with air of smugness stating its company policy ! This most certainly not published as part of hotel details when booking. They would not budge, and forced to pay it and then await the up to 7. -14 Days for them to return my monies which they took in seconds. Having stayed in numerous 4 and 5 star properties through Expedia, this is not common practice and certainly a first having to pay 200 Euros on top of the room price, so in essence paying double, so no 4 star service to justify these costs at all. Other hotels if they have to charge a preauthorisation, normally hold card details and if necessary charge a max 50 Euros to be refunded on check out all going well. 200 Euros must cover the overpriced mini bar in the room, which was avoided profusely. This property is in need of refurbishment, bit old and tired and perhaps 4 star standard needs to be revisited. These comments were shared with the staff upon check out too. Breakfast was good. Would I stay again, probably not.

Great, friendly staff. Enjoyed my free beverage downstairs at the lobby bar. Was very pleased with this hotel!

The staff were friendly and the room was large and well equipped with excellent air conditioning. A few of the features were a bit worn ( door coming away from wardrobe). Breakfast was varied and excellent

Rien a dire sur l’hôtel Par contre le sauna était inadapté. Pas de douche fonctionnelle. L’entrée du sauna était dangereuse (latte du sol qui bougeait à l’entrée).

La personne du matin qui travaille au comptoir à l’accueil très désagréable, pas professionnel s’exprime avec condescendance Aucun savoir-vivre, aucun savoir être extrêmement désagréable, utilise un ton extrêmement condescendant dernière fois dans cet hôtel.

Great location, the bar was great and perfect for a night cap. Lots of restaurants nearby. Near the metro. Rooms are large and with great view. Rooms are well furnished despite old. Would go back to this hotel.

L’hôtel a demander un paiement au moment d’arrivé plus 200 euros de caution! Ce que nous avions jamais vu auparavant et pourtant nous voyageons beaucoup ! La douche ne tenait pas sur son support .

Emplacement Parfait, style un peu désuet mais qui a du charme, grande chambre confortable, Bon petit déjeuner, personnel très sympathique.

Check-in rapide et professionnel, explications simples du beaba classique. Nous avions une chambre double Privilège très confortable et équipée de bouilloire et cafetière Nespresso, très appréciable. La salle de bain est vraiment petite et mériterait une rénovation, notamment au niveau des éléments de la baignoire qui commencent à vieillir. Sinon l'ensemble est très propre. Le petit déjeuner est varié et vraiment très bon, l'accueil du personnel excellent. Pour finir, l'hôtel a une position vraiment centrale idéale pour découvrir le Vieux-Lille à pied.
