Some rooms are not kept well. One room had terrible mold

Fabulous location!! Unfortunately the AC didn’t work, water leaked from shower into bedroom area and one bathroom light flickered on and off all night

The hotel is in a good location and has nice amenities like AC. The carpet in our room was stained with what looked like pet stains to a level that's not consistent with the price and rating of the hotel.

From the USA. Stayed 3 nights at Hotel Beau Rivage. Location is excellent in terms of restaurants/shops/beach nearby. Ubering is easy. Safe location. Hotel was clean and A/C worked great. A few inaccurate/deceiving notes about the listing. 1) Beau Rivage Beach Club chairs/access is NOT included with your stay. It costs $35 Euros per lounge chair per day and the only way to get that rate is to pay in cash at the front desk. The Beau Rivage Beach Club costs $55 Euros if you go directly there. Beach is large rocks so water shoes are a must. 2) Hotel does NOT give you beach towels to take to the beach no matter where you are going. They list they give you beach towels which is not true. 3) Bar on site is not technically part of the hotel. Bartender does not assist with opening wine bottles from outside the bar, they will not loan out corkscrews, buckets or ice for you to take to your room. They really should correct the listing so it is not false. Other than that, the stay was great.

Our room (317) was awful. Filthy carpet, dirty cracked tiles in the bathroom. Trying to get a usable shower temperature was impossible. The room was way, way past its ‘sell by’ date. I checked the 4th floor and from the outside it looks like the rooms may have been updated. Staff were pretty good. Breakfast was passable… just! No beach view - the hotel faces away from the beach. Their beach bar and restaurant was a shambles. Understaffed and disorganised. Service was awful. Don’t be fooled by the images on their website - it’s nothing like that. This hotel is not even close to 4 star!

We booked for 2 nights. When we checked in we noticed the AC didn’t work and a fan was in the room running. We let the front desk know and wrote the manager 2 emails since he/she wasn’t in the office. We had 29 Grad/84 Degrees in the room for our two nights, and the manager or any of the staff bothered to follow up with us.

Dirty, broken air conditioning

Great location and nice foyer area/bar. Our room was in the old part of the building and was quite tired, the aircon wasn’t great. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the staff were lovely - in particular a shout out to Mohammed in the bar who was a fabulous host to all there for the Wotld Cup soccer game.

Very nice. Safe area, private beach access and 5 minutes walk to the old town. Hotel is very quiet, pass 1 block and that’s where all the noise, cafes and restaurants start. Everything is close by, just perfect spot. Better area than Negresso hotel and Le Meridian, closer to the old town. This is where you want to be. The Hotel has a very nice bar in the lobby.

Very friendly snd helpful staff. The room was nicely cooled down and the bed was comfy. The lounge chairs at beach were awesome, I wasn’t aware they would cost money but well worth the $35 euros. Would gladly stay here again.

Hotel has great location near the beach and old town. Nice staff and bar area. Room also nicely decorated However - room wasn’t cleaned for the 2 days and we checked out on the third. Had to ask for towels as not enough for 2 people when we got In but more crucially Carpet had just been cleaned (maybe shampooed) and was damp through out stay. Staff were nice and gave us a late check out as compensation.

Clean excellent hotel

The Hotel Beau Rivage is a good choice for my friend and I. It's not perfect; my first impression was that it was a little worn around the edges. But the location is really great for being close to the old town and the beach. The hotel was clean and the service was good. I'd recommend it.

We chose this hotel based on the central location and it being near the beach. The hotel is older but clean and well maintained. A leaky faucet in the bathroom was fixed within a few hours. Room A/C was adequate but not great. We had a room with a courtyard view which helped keep the noise level low at night. All told we felt the room was a good value for the area we wanted to stay in and we would stay here again.

Smelled like mold, AC didn’t work, WIFI is terrible! But liked the location and the staff / bartender were friendly. Would go back to bar, wouldn’t recommend hotel.

The hotel is tired, you can see the wear starting in the lobby. The location is superb, close to all and the rooms were comfortable and clean but the pillows tough. The hotel could use some upgrading as it’s very worn.

The lobby was disappointing and needs improvements (e.g. ceiling fixes, lighting). The room was nice! And staff was super helpful. We used the beach one day at a cost of €35 each. Was good service there too. (RECO: Bring or buy water shoes because the rocks hurt!)

Clean modern room, beds were super comfy to sleep especially after a day of walking and getting the steps in. Staff were so lovely and helpful, would definitely come back to stay as location was superb! The only tiny thing that I suggest would be to have the dog area away from reception as first thing you see and can smell are them but that’s minor compared to the room and everything else
