Excellent stay

Hotel Charged us multiple times and they denied when I told them stating they cannot Do anything due to me booking via third party. I have alwaya booked with expedia and hotel has contacted them for me and made changes as needed. They also didnt explain the room options well, stating they had no beach view but ended up Giving one to my sister.. location was great, renovated rooms were okay but you need to request them specifically. The description on the website or On expedia is not Clear!

I booked 3 rooms in the same category and price point, 2 rooms were what we were expecting and my room was about half the size of the other two rooms. It stunk like an ashtray and when we went to use the shower, it didn't drain and flooded the bathroom. We were told that the maintenance person had left for the day. (It was around 6pm) There was no follow up, no offer for a different room. Just had to stay in a room that smelled like cigarettes and had an unusable shower. Terrible.

BLOOD, URINE, STAINED MATTRESS. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this hotel has earned one. I was allocated Room 105 and was genuinely shocked by the condition of it. The room contained heavily stained carpets and cushions, mould in the bathroom, curtains that did not close properly, evidence of cigar smoke, an unknown substance on the headboard and, most concerningly, visible blood and urine stains on the mattress. The hotel's defence has been that I was offered the opportunity to move rooms. Whilst technically true, I had just arrived for a holiday and did not want to spend my first afternoon unpacking, repacking and moving because the room provided was clearly below an acceptable standard. The situation became far more serious later that evening when the television fell off the wall. At that point I immediately went to reception and requested to be moved as I no longer felt safe in the room. What has disappointed me most is the response afterwards. I contacted the hotel on several occasions seeking a reasonable resolution. I received one reply from Sonia, responded in detail, and then heard nothing further despite sending five additional emails. No acknowledgement, no explanation and no attempt to resolve the complaint. The room I was eventually moved to was perfectly acceptable, which only highlighted how poor Room 105 actually was. Poor cleanliness, poor maintenance and even worse customer service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

Wasn't able to get into our room until after 4:30.

Perfect location and great staff. Walking distance to a ton of restaurants and shops. 15 minute drive from the airport. We ubered for longer trips that weren’t walkable and never had an issue getting an uber. The room was clean and spacious but the carpet was stained, that’s the only reason for 4 stars for cleanliness. The staff is great! Very helpful and responsive. Mohamed the bartender was one of my favorite parts of the trip! The staff at the beach club was excellent as well! Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel to stay for Nice Getaway! Location wise is absolutely perfect- walking distance to main train station (to catch a train to Eze, Monte Carlo or Cannes). Stones throw from all the restaurants and sea literally across the road. I made sure that I book myself a room that is facing courtyard as from my travel experiences in different places I know that street view rooms can get noisy due to pedestrians and traffic. I also made sure that I book Premium room as they newly refurbished with grand new deco and all completely new and stylish. Bed was extremely comfortable (and I'm a fussy sleeper). We had breakfast included (book through Expedia) and it was a great selection of buffet breakfast options. Staff were all polite and professional so all in all have literally O negative things to say. Would I stay here again? Without a doubt!

This hotel was wonderful! The first thing I want to address is how friendly and accommodating the staff was. Including the bar staff! The location was perfect, very central to everything. My downside to this hotel was the noise- it was very loud til about 1am every night but I guess that is the price you pay for having a central location. The rooms were not that clean, for example, the crumbs on the carpet stayed for days til we said something about it, and there was some sort of chocolate stains on the walls that were not taken care of upon checking into the room and the extension of our entire stay. The rooms on the left side (level 3) where we stayed were not updated. No USB plug ins and no smart tv so come prepared with wall chargers. I checked into a different room (level 5) where I was told the rooms were newly renovated and I had better soaps, a USB plug in next to the bed and a smart tv with English channels. Overall I had a wonderful time and would recommend this hotel to anyone and would absolutely come back. Would love to see my bartender friends Mohammed and Diana again!
