The AC never really got cold; the sink didn’t drain, and about 4 AM we heard rap music from next door. The smell of pot was pretty strong in certain places, and there were no “direct call” instructions for the hotel front desk, bell hop, etc. instead, we had to call the reservation hotline to get the number to the front desk. It was just wasn’t the best stay we’ve had.

The property was undergoing renovations. I was unaware of this at booking, but received an email from the property about a week before check-in. Check-in was quick and the girl at the desk was courteous. She did advise me if the renovations at this time. Room was clean and comfortable. It appears to have been recently updated. No water problems this time. We had them in our last stay. Bar staff were courteous, as usual, and attentive. Another great stay!

Floor in room nor shower was clean. No ventilation in bathroom. Long wait for valet parking and only option for parking available.

I stayed at the Marriott Saturday for the Jazz Festival and was charged $200 incidental fees. I was told I used the WiFi 3 times @$9.95 each time. I had not used the WiFi and didn’t appreciate Marriott charging me an additional $100 incidental fee. Other than that, my stay was nice, the beds could’ve been a bit more softer/comfortable.

The entire hotel was so clean and the staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay and will stay again when we visit Jacksonville.

Great stay-some floors are being renovated-our room was on a newly renovated floor-beautiful! Loved the motion sensor lights that helped with nightly bathroom trips. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

New ownership from Omni to Marriott. Much needed improvement. Still remodeling but only certain hours of the day. Staff great from desk to restaurant/bar. Super convenient to Jax symphony across the street. Stay every trip.

This Marriott needs a major renovation! The toilet would not flush. Also VERY poor response time from housekeeping
