Hotel is dated, walk to convention center is straight shot and 10 minutes. Breakfast was limited but decent. Hotel staff is awesome! Price to value 10/10

The biggest disappointment was the front desk staff. The room was fairly cold and I asked the front desk personnel for an extra blanket, they said no. They gave a mediocre explanation but said no nonetheless. Also, the front desk staff did not inform me that housekeeping only comes when requested. I learned that the hard way when the trash and dirty towels were not taking out after a long day of exploring downtown.

My child & myself stayed for 4 nights. 1st impression good because it’s close to the interstate and you can walk to the monument circle downtown if you don’t mind 12 minutes or the mall. 1st impression downstairs entering it smelled clean the front desk lady was nice (overall staff was friendly not knocking them) but when we went on the 3rd floor for night 1 it smelled like musky pee and feet. Our room was the city view. 1 st impression walking into the room it didn’t smell bad as it did out in the hallway. The room looked clean . Went in the bathroom just by a glance it looked good until I investigated the shower floors need to be replaced and it was a stain right underneath the toilet. So that made me want to check the bed throughly and I found stains and I pulled the Laquita blanket off and found a bigger stain on the blanket …I was already tired from the 7 & 1/2 hours drive but was not going to have my child and I sleep on that bed so I went to Walmart and bought a Q blow up mattress . Not to mention trash in the ice room on our floor was overflowing and downstairs when u enter in. The elevator walls was trifling throughout the stay. Leading up to night 2 I saw cleaners taking out trash and after getting my food I came back to a nice smelling 3rd floor. So maybe they just didn’t have the help at the time ….thank God for the city view it helped out a bit to see sky and bought the blowup mattress which helped with the sleep & flops to help with the showers and my own bleach

Rooms were a bit outdated, but appeared to be under renovation. The staff was very helpful.

Everything was great but the AC unit in our room. It was barely working and coming out of the wall. Oh the elevator is super slow but that was fine too. We didnt complain or anything because it was a busy few days with the Indiana Fever home game but they need to do an update on the rooms. But service was great room was clean bed clean etc just the AC was a big let down on a 90 degree heat wave.

Well first off, pretty sure the ac was broken because it remained hot and muggy the whole time and we had the ac set as low as 63! There was ants all over the room! The pillows were the hardest I’ve ever had to sleep on! We needed to wash laundry and the washer was broken, the ice on our floor was broken, and when we went to leave with all our luggage- the elevator was broken too! There were only 2 towels and 1 wash cloth in the room and none when we went to get new ones! You also can hear the street like it’s in the room with you! The food was tasteless! There was free parking which was the only plus but it was VERY limited.

We like the location, very easy access to downtown features and Gainbridge. The staff are great. However, a few things not so great; hallways are hot and carpet smells funky; breakfast not very good and kitchen staff too worried about talking to each other to service visitors; showerhead too low - I had to duck down to get under it; shampoo empty; elevator is archaic and two years in a row one or more elevator is not working. Let visitors know when they are getting a room with no window.

Stay was ok. Had to move to a different room because air didn't work in first room. Didn't work much better in second room. Lobby floor was dirty. Front desk clark said that do to the holiday they were short handed.

The location is in the city which was good but unfortunately the hotel is very old and rooms not updated. Our shower head was broken along with the toilet. The bathroom sink was clogged. Not enough linen to accommodate two people. This was after we changed rooms due to no ac in the first room. The parking garage was very dirty and parking odd. The breakfast was lack luster. I would never stay at this location again.

It was okay. AC is terrible, especially in common areas. The room was very outdated, the ceiling cracked, shower faucet was leaky, toilet seat not attached. Very disappointing.

The staff was good. The property not great. The shower was broken when I checked in and somehow no one had noticed? Ok breakfast, coffee was good. Probably not going to recommend unless you are desperate - convenient to walk to the conference center..

The location of this property is EXCELLENT for downtown Indianapolis. The staff was warm and helpful. The neighborhood is a little sketchy with homeless drug addicts a block away, but the property itself is nice.
