It was okay, the photos on hotels.com didnt really match what the inside of the hotels looks now. They probably need updating. The hotel room we got did feel like a handicap room, everything felt shorter.

Carpet in the room was filthy, sticky and smelled like urine. Shower was not clean, filled with black hair. The last straw is when the alarm clock went off at 6am, and would not stop going off. Clearly housekeeping needs a checklist to ensure the rooms are ready for guests. I requested 3 times for the front desk manager to call me, and still over a week later they have not called. The only perk of this property is the marina and location. This is the worst stay I have had at this property.

Beautiful hotel right on Mission Bay. The lanai rooms facing the pool were awesome.The morning cleaning ladies were the best.

We enjoyed our time at the Dana , it’s close to seaworld and mission beach roller coaster

The Dana was BEAUTIFUL!! I took my daughter here for a getaway for her 16th birthday. The property is lovely and so conveniently located near everything! We didn’t realize that it was more a motel rather than hotel with rooms on the outside but it was so lovely to walk the property. It was safe, rooms were comfortable, dining options were delicious and I can’t say enough about the beauty of the property.

We love staying here! Really nice rooms and pool and overall really nice and fun and relaxing environment!

Nice quiet getaway with my daughter. Clean rooms, nice amenities, convenient location.

I went to San Diego for an all day fishing trip so the time at the resort was minimum. The pools like great and had a meal at the patio that was good. Basically slept there mostly and got up early on departure day and went home. I would book again. One thing I don’t enjoy is being charged 35 dollars a day plus another 20 dollars for some hotel fee.

I was hesitant booking this hotel at first due to some reviews that spoke negatively about it. But I am so glad that I went a head and gave them a shot. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We stayed for 6 nights and had a kiddo with us. Every night they play a movie at the pool which was one of the best parts. and if you book during summer hours, you will see fireworks every night from Sea World. This hotel is in walking distance to the ocean, don't let the bridge scare you ;-) If we ever come back we will stay here again. my only complaint is the dinning at the hotel is ridiculously expensive other than that 5 stars all day long

Mission Bay is one of my favorite places. Second time for staying at The Dana. Conveniently located. Great accommodations
