There were ants crawling across the floor of our room. That alone should tell you most of what you need to know about this hotel. When I raised it at the front desk, the staff couldn’t have cared less. The service was terrible from start to finish. The hotel advertises elevators, but there are stairs throughout. We even had to go down half a flight of stairs just to reach our room. It advertises air-conditioning, but the room was so hot I could barely sleep. On the day we arrived, the water was completely out, and while that wasn’t their fault, no one offered wipes or any real information about what was happening. The parking is genuinely difficult, with no help offered to sort it out. I cannot stress this enough: do not stay here. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances. You’d be far better off in a hostel.

It is located in the old city in an old building adapted to a hotel. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, comfy. The staff at the reception is lost, not well organized, mostly not speaking English but having no problem in gossiping in Spanish during the check-in. The breakfast is very good, but the breakfast room gives the impression of a mensa. On the entrance to the breakfast room there is a red tape you cannot enter and need to wait for someone to ask you for the room number. It is not a way to welcome your guests with a "no access" tape.

The weather was a little chilly but the central air-conditioning was only giving cold air. I asked a temporary heater but they gave only the blanket. The beds are not fixed to the frame . It was sliding downwards. The breakfast was really good.

Perfect location for what we needed. You can walk around Toledo in a few hours so the location was a great starting point on to pof the hill. The rooms are very spacious, AC in the room, the cold setting never seemed to work just pumped warm air out. The windows are historical single glazed so be warned you will hear some outside sound. If you love a medieval vibe this hotel is for you. Both receptionist where great and happy to help with anything. We even got an early check in. Highly recommend.

In a very convenient location for the old town and frequent buses to the wider area. The room was excellent with a modern bathroom and good heating (which was good as the weather was cold). Large selection of breakfast food. A very atmospheric hotel with lots of suits of armour and swords in the public areas. Would definitely stay here again.
