Highlights: ​Service & Staff: Staff members were attentive, friendly, and provided high-quality service. Housekeeping provided exceptional service by preparing special room decorations to acknowledge an anniversary celebration. ​Dining & Location: The hotel features a desirable location and offers a varied breakfast selection. ​Pool: The swimming pool facility met expectations. ​Areas for Improvement: ​Spa Facilities: Overall spa amenities are somewhat limited. While the sauna performed well, its capacity is small. The Jacuzzi was good once it started working. The steam room quality fell short of guest expectations.

The toilet is too high, which is very unfriendly to people under 1.75 metres, and they can't even step on the ground. The sewer is too slow to drain. After taking a shower for a while, the water is almost waterproof.

Our experience was great. a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The room was the highlight: Air conditioned, large bed with feather pillows and duvet. Very comfortable. Bathroom very clean and modern.

Check in was relatively poor, hotel journey from car park involved a number of stairs etc. AC in room excellent, but position of TV on wall made it difficult to watch and desk was cramped in corner, needs better layout.

On arrival the check-in process was straightforward. My room was ready before 3pm, but I soon discovered that the ac wasn’t working. The reception staff were very helpful, they explained that there had been a power cut earlier in the day, which may have been the reason why it wasn’t working, however, within half an hour of reporting it, the ac was working working again. I was disappointed that there was no fridge in my room, and minimal coffee packets. It was a lot of money to pay for one night without these facilities.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Room was lovely and spacious, immaculately clean, super comfy bed, great shower and lovely toiletries and robes. Food delicious too. Can't fault it...excellent all round

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and breakfast was great. We were even able to take our little dog with us for breakfast as they have a private area for dogs.

The room was a great size and staff were helpful.The spa area, sauna and steam rooms were tired, dated and need of maintenance. Breakfast was good. Just as suggestion to allow pets in the main area and make the smaller area for families with small children.

Very disappointed with the room. It didn't look like the photos at all. Very old, tired and warn decor. Not up to Double Tree standards. The staff were very friendly though and the gym was decent.

The stay was ok. The property is too far out of the town centre and the food offering was limited.

Room was very clean and had all the amenities to hand. Access to the soa facilities, pool, sauna was a great addition. Bar a little pricey but comfortable.

The first room was too far away from the hotel. Second room was much better although it wasn’t a king size bed that I requested and paid for.
