clean, convenient location, courteous staff. The room looked like it was a college dorm room. Blah, blah color with no decor on the walls. The panel mounted near the TV had what looked like a poster mounted of local scenes. Not what I expected for a $200+ a nite room. Also , in this price point I think some sort of continental bkfst could be included.

We love staying at John carver when we visit Plymouth.. the staff are great and friendly.

The staff wasn’t very helpful asked for towels 3 times and didn’t get any

The Staff is great. Very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was an issue was the technology. The internet was down for two days and the television had technical difficulties.

This hotel was amazing for my kids. The pool was free (contrary to what I had read elsewhere), and had a giant Mayflower 80-foot long waterslide and hot tub atop “Plymouth rock.” They also had an arcade room (not free), that my kids enjoyed looking around in. There was a laundromat across the street that took credit cards, so doing our laundry there was just a 2-minute drive up the street. My kids range in age from 7–16, and this was their favorite hotel out of the 14 we have stayed in so far this summer. Beds were comfy. Rooms were clean. No breakfast included, unfortunately, although there was a restaurant you can eat breakfast in.

The staff are very nice and accommodating. The rooms are clean but the hallways and elevator are in sad shape.

Rooms were fine but things were a bit beat up and in need of small repairs throughout. Room too small for the roll away bed they had. Kid had to take the mattress and sleep on the floor as we could not open the bed.

They were remodeling, great place

Proximity to all that we wanted to do in Plymouth and a small distance from the waterfront and it's crowds and noise. A peaceful location and stay.

Great Location, Hotel was in a excellent location in the heart of Plymouth, rooms were nice and very clean- Family Friendly, great Pool and excellent staff- will stay here again

Dark, dirty and dingy. The ac was so loud and made a loud squeaking noise all night. Room reaked of mold and locks were flimsy i felt unsafe and dirty

I have stayed at the John Carver Inn many times. Love the location. We are able to walk to many restaurants, historic places and shopping boutiques. The 3rd floor rooms have been refurbished recently and the rooms are quite satisfactory.

The staff is great. Need vending machines and better coffee in the room.

The room was clean and updated. The staff was very helpful when our television broke.

The only complaint we had was the shower water wasn't very hot.

A nice place for a getaway

Great place!

Check-in staff were not very pleasant, water was bearly warm, not hot. The rooms were not what we expected. There was hair in the shower, that was not ours.

Room smelled a little musty. Was glad to be able to open the window. Would have liked a paper with tv channels etc. Also a mirror somewhere in the room would be nice.
