When booking the hotel was advertised as having a hot tub, the hot tub was permanently closed and the pool was ice cold, we booked this hotel for roughly 40 dollars more per night because of the hot tub, we were extremely upset and very disappointed that we were lied to by the hotel and the booking service about the amenities of this hotel

Hampton Inn is a great value! The property is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is great! The hotel is also conveniently located close to Birch Run and Frankenmuth. We did not bring our pups this time, but I also LOVE that they are a dog-friendly hotel!

It was ok stay. We have stayed in this hotel may time and had better stays. We didnt get a microwave and should of had 1. There was stains on the carpet. They take out the hot tub. The best part of the stay was the breakfast.

We ended up not staying since we chose this hotel for the pool and hot tub and they were both closed and the hot tub was being filled in and were not notified until we arrived. The desk manager notified us that they would give us a refund due to not having the pool and hot tub and we are waiting for that from Orbitz. Otherwise the hotel did look clean.

Pool and hot tub were closed, part of the reason we selected this hotel. Front desk offered no apology for this . Was not a handicap room, had to step in the tub. We would not stay here again. Oh, and the manager offered us $10 off our bill for the inconvenience! What an insult!

The pool and hot tub were out of order, so we asked for a late check out or a discount. They said we could have a late checkout. Day of checkout came and they came knocking on our door telling us we had to leave with no late check out. The toilet in our room was rigged to work and it was very difficult to flush.

The property was fairly clean and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the pool was closed and we were not notified until after we had checked in (it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel). And the shampoo and conditioner were empty in the shower.

Despite calling in the morning to confirm the pool was working, we were told upon arrival that it was closed. When told that we had called specifically to ensure the pool was open, the manager simply shrugged, saying that was a "different shift", and offering no other explanation. This was all after our card was already run for the stay. Seems like a lack of transparency, and a lack of support for a family checking in on EASTER, looking for a pool for their child.

Well, I was on a trip to take My Mother to do something as a bucket list cause she’s 80 years old and the hot tub wasn’t working so I didn’t stay there and I didn’t get a refund because I booked through Expedia but they’re working on giving me a refund. And I wasn’t told the hot tub wasn’t working and it didn’t post it online. Otherwise I would’ve never booked it. Hot tub was very important to her.

The first room we were put in was way in the back on the 2nd floor, which was fine until we went in. The room looked like where they book people who going to be throwing a party, the wood of the furniture had scrapings everywhere, the carpet looked very worn, the beds looked rundown. We asked to be in another room as this was unacceptable and we were moved. The second room looked much nicer, but when we took a shower we had no hot water, I called front desk and told them, he stated that no other guest had called about this and he was sorry for the inconvenience, but maintenance was gone for the day. The heat was very hot in the room, even after putting it on cool 65, I did not call them about this because I was still upset about the water. We recieved a call later around 11:00pm that we will have hot water in 30 mins. Me and my Husband ended up leaving early 5:30pm on 04/14/2025 as It was still hot reading 80 in the room. So disappointed for my Husband birthday weekend, we're normally happy with the Hampton Inn locations.

Had King room. Nice and big room. Suggest new bed spreads. These had too many snags. The pool had very strong chlorine smell so made you not want to go in. Outside door was propped open allowing anybody ( or child) to walk in unseen. Take care of these things and you might get a 5.

It was a last minute stay and never stayed at the Hampton in Birch Run before. For the most part was nice. The front desk was friendly upon arrival. Rooms were fine, although the toilet was VERY hard to flush. The bed was a little hard but pillows were great! The tub made a whistling sound when filling unless used all the way to the hot. Bathroom was clean however. The pool area could use a revamp. There seemed to be a lot of dirt/mold on the walls. Seat cushions could use replacing. No towels out, had to go to the front desk. Breakfast had a good variety and tasty! Overall was a nice last minute stay!

Room was dirty, clean sheets/blankets. Chip crumbs on floor and on side of beds, and dried up pizza sauce on floor. Like they forgot to vacuum and sweep. Hot tub and pool were good, main reason, kids had fun 3-5 feet range with stairs

The hotel needs an interior upgrade. The PTAC unit in our room rattled all night. The bed platforms were old and need replacement. The breakfast would good and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
