Room was in need of refurb, scalding hot bathroom sink tap would not cool down

Pleasant staff, comfortable room and a good location for us. We had a meal in the Brew Bar on our first evening and it was nice.

This is a lovely little hotel, we only stayed for about 10 hours but it was far better than I expected.

Clean comfortable room. Booked to take a dog. Arrived late at night and had to wait ages ( a hour) for a room as apparently not all are dog friendly. Eventually got to bed at 1am. This should be made clear on booking site. Otherwise a comfy hotel.

Room is severely overpriced

Clean, spacious, great location Shower was broken and couldn’t increase the temperature, stuck as just above tepid. We managed but the kids would not have been impressed so had to avoid full showers.

It is good hotel but a little far from London. Little challenging to navigate the buses and trains to get to London. But the hotel itself was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Except the distance from London, I would recommend it!

Pleasant hotel. Not the nicest location in terms of facilities - but places to eat and drink. Only real thing to point out - bathroom grubby, leaking bath and dirty shower towel, but not enough to spoil anything. Refreshments in room not topped up in 3 day stay and not clear where to get more from, but again no great issue. Room nice with balcony. Overall pleasant stay - but some signs of a bit of fraying round the edges. Would use again tho.

The Ac was not working

Lovely staff, only thing I would say is to have a choice of pillows as the ones I had wee far too soft leading to a sore neck

Good hotel in terms of location, and staff are friendly. The car park is very very tight though, even with a very average sized car. This means a high risk of damage as it's near impossible to get in or out of your car when parked next to someone else.
