This hotel has changed considerably over the years. The rooms are large but they have been modernised with not so salubrious furniture. The rooms are quite noisy, I often heard people talking in the hallway which kept me awake. There is no restaurant; just a breakfast area and bar service for meals served to your table. The service from the staff was very professional and efficient. The hotel is not in the centre; it is approximately 40 minutes walk to the shopping centre. It’s a nice hotel but the modernisation has ruined it, it used to be very traditional and elegant.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful. However, the neighbourhood felt unsafe at night, and some basic amenities were missing—such as no power socket in the bathroom and a non-functional TV that was not fixed despite requests.

We stayed here as a family of 4 for one night. We had a family room with two double beds. The bedroom was a great size with a moveable wall mounted TV (very helpful with small children!) The bathroom was spacious with the best water pressure I've ever experienced in a hotel. We had breakfast in the morning which was nice. A smaller selection than we have usually had at other hotels, but good none the less. Staff were polite and helpful. The only downside was that the lift to access reception from the car park was out of order. Luckily my husband and I were able to lift our baby's buggy together, however this could cause an access issue for others. We would stay here again.

Large spacious superior room with comfortable bed. Had a corner room with lots of windows. Big bathroom. Lovely omlette for breakfast. Friendly staff.

Walkable distance from event places, and the staff were really helpful.

Was given a room with no lights working, alternative room did not have a/c working. Other alternative rooms had a damp smell. Overall horrible experience and would not book again

The air conditioner barely pushed out cool air during the night. Also dynamic pricing for a busy weekend was a rip off. Not worth the money but they had the vacancy and took full advantage.

Rooms were fine but a little tired, breakfast was very poor and the room wasn’t cleaned for the 3 nights I was there

Lovely suite! Real king size bed, very comfortable. Spacious sitting area, bright natural light. Only drawback was underperforming A/C in main bedroom. Staff was quick to provide portable fans when repair wasn’t available. Would recommend!

Staff friendly and helpful, location great. Quiet and super convenient for food and shopping if you don't mind a little walk. Property in good repair but rooms are a little dated. Power sockets were few and not positioned at the bedside. Also room windows on the outside were quite dirty. Breakfast good. Small simple bar was quiet in the evening, but you don't have to walk far to find a good one.

Great size room. Art Deco - I love! Everything we need. Appreciate a car park.
