Historical looking hotel, rooms are good and well maintained to match the historical appearance. Very close to shops and mall. Walkable distance to harbour and waterfront. Location made it convenient for a short stay we had during layover

Very nice, clean & comfortable room. We got the petit room, so definitely on the smaller side, but it had everything we needed. Great location and has parking available. The bellman was very nice, unfortunately can not remember his name.

We ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel. The service was good and so was the food. The staff were fantastic including lending us an umbrella on a rainy day and water for a site seeing tour. It is a rare historical gem. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the location as we were right next to the Citadel and the public gardens! Also not far from shopping and the boardwalk.

The employees were very good and quick to offer assistance. The room had very nice details, such as the bathrobes and Nespresso machine. The location was lovely being next to the Halifax Public Gardens and along a street that was less steep to climb. We have gotten used to breakfast being included as part of our stay so we missed having that available. We also missed having a hot tub available after long days of walking. There was the option of going to the Y nearby for a hot tub, but we didn’t want to walk outside to get to it. We knew both would not be available when we booked, so that is on us.

We enjoyed our stay here and loved that it was across from the beautiful public gardens across the street. While not included the breakfast at the hotel was delicious.

Super belle hôtel, bien situé, excellent rapport qualité prix! Seul le staff à la réception manquait un peu de proactivité mais si non tout était impeccable!
