Very tight room. Air conditioning in the hotel hallways, but none in the room. Parking somewhat inconvenient around the corner and paid for separately. Staff was nice and breakfast decent.

This hotel is a 5-minute walk from the train station, very convenient. The facilities are new, but the rooms are a bit small.

The front desk was extremely helpful to us...we were having problems with our phone's gps in finland. They did all they could to help us adjust. My one reservation is that this hotel does not allow guests to use the HDMI connection to watch their own programming (the only Scandic that did this) and offer no explanation. Also, although there is plenty of light weight English speaking programming, there is no English speaking NEWS. No explanation offered. Good restaurant on premises. Good location for train.

Great place to stay, good breakfast, comfortable room

This Scandic hotel is very nice, great facility including sauna and pool. Staff is outstanding! Great breakfast with lots of choices

Right by the city center and a few blocks from main railway station. Great breakfast buffet. Great sauna and pool.

Renovated some time ago, the architecture of the hotel still reminded me of a nursing home or something like that. Everything was near and tidy, however, so no complaints whatsoever. Due to COVID-19, the hotel had made a healthy and tasteful breakfast available in a take-away bag, which was good time-saver and got us on the road faster.

Brilliant location both for the railway station and the sights. The standard rooms are on the smaller side but otherwise no complaints at all. The swimming pool was exactly the right temperature - not like a bath! Great choice at breakfast even though the hotel was very quiet because of the Coronavirus.

Industrial accommodation, internet is a disgrace.

Would prefer better amenities in the washroom eg more toiletries, tissues

Was ok

It was a nice normal hotel. Nothing great or bad. The price was a bit higher than expected for Oulu but so were the other hotels.

We arrived to hotel late after long drive. First we got wrong info about parking but then they solved that too. Room was basic, but nice one, good condition and bed was comfortable. Hotel restaurant was expensive and nothing special not recommended if your can go somewhere else. Service on restaurant wasn’t that good either, would be good speak English if on table is different language speakers, and English is language what they speaks together. But breakfast was good on restaurant but not for lunch or for dinner.

Both the reception and the restaurant Huviretki at Cumulus Hotel has wonferful staff, so attentive, helpful and naturally kind people who really care.

Happy time spent in three days with the staff amenities and comfortable room.
