All items were fine, it is just that it is the most basic Scandic Hotel I have been to in Finland (rooms just looked like basic university dormitory rooms) and the price was so high 175 EUROS/night. So even though the bathroom was fine, breakfast was fine, the sauna facility was very nice, knowing that much finer rooms in Helsinki were for 50-60 EUR less meant that these seemed over-priced, and less value for the cost.

Poor hotel room for the price. Would not stay here again.

Reserved a room with king bed but got a twin bed instead. The room was uncomfortably hot which seems insane in February at the current energy prices. Gym & breakfast were decent. Easy free parking in front is the only real positive thing about this place.

The room was very hot and there is no A/C. The front desk did provide fans, which we appreciated, but there was otherwise not good airflow, so even with the small window open, the hot air had nowhere to escape to. If the summers in Finland continue to be so hot, the hotel needs renovation to install A/C and improve airflow in order to be bearable.

Ok value for the money. Don’t like the design much but hotel did its main job. Provided good night sleep and breakfast.

Staffs are generally friendly. Room is very basic, bathroom is very small. Good for a one night stay but not advisable to stay longer than that. Free parking right in front of hotel which is good. Breakfast was simple but enough to get you going to start the day. One very negative point we like to bring up was, the hotel practically shut off the water supply in our room from 11.20am. The check out time was 12pm but after 11.20am, we realised the water flow was getting smaller and by 11.30am, you cannot even flash the toliet bowl. So, effectively they are asking you to get out after 11.30am. This is no good.

The price to higher for the room conditiion.

Good hotel, clean and basic room interiors, very friendly staff

Dated interior and small bathroom but good staff relationship. Iron and ironing board available but not a steam iron so made the task so much harder. Same menu as at Tampere so we marked it down as fair. Town is delightful and many interesting places to visit. Would come back again to enjoy the islands and sailing more.

Reception was brilliant (it appeared that the GM of the hotel herself took care of it) and all other services were friendly and good. The bedroom was ok though very basic. Breakfast was sufficient but contained little "nice surprises" or extras. In general, a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Oh yes, dinner at Huviretki restaurant was very tasty and the young lady serving us did a good job :)

Hotel was quite old and seems that it has not been renovated since build.. I would expect little more with the price I paid but anyway the room was clean and staff was very nice...

Great room, great price, great location.

Clean hotel, but rooms need modernising, they are pretty old fashioned. Good hotel with a nice bar and restaurant. The food was excellent. Breakfast always offered a "Gluten-Free" selection of breads, cereals and cakes, readily available. This is the first time I have seen this offered in a hotel. I would stay here again.
