Palatial building and furnishings with a staff that far exceeds expectations. World class Dining

Great stay

Nice staff, and beautiful and elegant building. The rooms are showing their age, however. Frayed upholstery, chipped and marred furniture, and leak-stained walls and ceilings.

Love the Brown it is a beautiful hotel but the room we stayed in could definitely use an update.

A very nice place to spend our last night of our road trip vacation! The lobby bar area was beautiful! We especially enjoyed our attentive and sweet bar tender, Jodi. The live piano music was also a plus! The hotel overall felt comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in Louisville!

The hotel is a classic! You can feel the 1930's when you walk in. The staff and the history is the highlight. The shuttle service is truly spectacular and the Valet guys are marvelous. Saturday and Sunday the breakfast is top notch. We will definitely be back.

The Brown Hotel is a rare gem that captures a bygone era with grace and authenticity. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly distinctive and refined experience.

Excellent stay! Good to know the history of the hotel and city. The location is a few blocks away from the Bourbon Trail, so plan ahead if want to go there.
