Great staff and breakfast

Rooms needed to be refreshed or update. Lighting very poor.

Excellent location, really near the station. Many restaurants near by. Not sure if it was the room I ordered but it was surprisingly spacious. Clean and very pleasant. Beds comfortable. I was on my own so was going to watch a bit of TV…one English Channel on motorway cops. Dreadful! Read my book! Might be worth taking ear plugs, doors banging a bit. Breakfast was excellent, far exceeded my expectations. Found all staff helpful and friendly. Check in was 3pm, was early so left my bag and went for a wander. Totally met my needs, would recommend

Location was great! Service was great! Room was clean. The only negative aspect was the view from our room which overlooked a courtyard full of mechanical equipment that was littered with cigarette butts, fruit peels, etc. I would stay here again if I didn’t have that view. I think rooms can be difficult to get in Hamar so it’s a fine choice - but ask about the view!

Following direct prompting on google to expedia I bought a 195 dollar room for one night in Hamar Hill, Ohio, except it was booked in Hamar Norway and I didn't even notice until I was 1 hour from Hamar... I bought insurance for 16 dollars but because of the time difference expedia would not honor it and this hotel already took the money and would not give it back so I was screwed out of 195 dollars. This hotel is no good. They are thieves who take what they do not deserve. DO NOT TRUST!!!!

The hotel was great - clean, convenient location and lovely breakfast. However the best aspect of our stay was the wonderful staff! They went out of their way to make our stay extra special and were more than happy to help with any requests we had. Really exceptional service!

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel was pleasant overall, and the breakfast was good.

We took the train from Oslo airport and it was an easy walk from the train station to the hotel. There were plenty of restaurant options nearby.

Got a room with varm, bad air and windows facing other windows with full view into the entire room, and a large, loud ventilation system, so opening the window for fresh air resulted in the sound from the ventilation pipes being so loud it was not possible to sleep well. Having to have the curtains closed equals a room without windows so should be specified before booking, and priced accordingly. Asked for a change of rooms but got a no, and the hotel had very few guests so there were rooms available. Other than that the hotel is ok, breakfast good, the location good, and the Japanese restaurant next door great.
