Lovely place to stay - very central to the city including New Regent St, Riverside Market and the Te Pae Convention Centre. Staff were lovely. OGB restaurant was very nice. Room was very nice, quite clean. Kitchen had everything I needed. I was to short to be able to close the blind in the kitchen area - a little hook to catch the cord on would help this! My room was on the road - got a little noisy at times, but nothing over the top. I just used ear plugs.

Great stay, a bit noisey in the morning with the tram outside and if it was hot it would have been umberable as the room did not have air cond.

Hotel was in an old government building which meant it was quite quirky.

It was a very clean property with beautiful views. There are a lot of stairs getting into the property as well as the house is tri-level. Did not love that all of the bathrooms were on the bottom level.

Brilliant old building with huge rooms and hallways with many of the original features in place...staff so friendly and helpful in fact so very kind too. Perfect location close to the tram stop, shops and the river Avon. OGB bar on site, perfect for summer evening drinks. Valet carparking available at reasonable price. Would definitely recommend the Heritage.

Beautiful and historic, perfect location. We were greeted and given a very early check in after an 18 hr day of flying. Accommodations are in wonderful condition. We missed our check out time and again, they were very accommodating and allowed us the extra time to get our things together. Restaurant is fabulous; great oysters and live music. Will stay there again!

The decor on the outside is very appealing to the eye however, the rooms are very outdated. The fridge in my room made a constant bang noise every three hours. The curtains do not block out any light and if you have a room facing towards the car park building you can hear all the noise from the cars throughout the night. The room doesn't have any aircon apart from an old fan. The couch in the room also had a couple of stains. The restaurant doesn't have buffet so very limited selection. I went for a swim once and only stayed in the pool for a limited time when I saw the amount of grime in the pool and could feel it on the bottom of my feet. I also used the gym, and a lot of the equipment is squeaking due to rust. On a positive note, the large bed was comfy, and the location is great for walking distance to many attractions.

Lovely welcome at reception and amazingly huge suite. A little old fashioned but comfortable. Convenient central location. Paid parking in several places around the hotel. Enjoyed our dinner in the bar: great service and the food and wine were excellent.
