Nice, friendly hotel staff. Great breakfast. Hotel zum Storchen is downtown in Bad Windsheim, a charming small town.

Room was pretty small and extremely warm. Price was elevated for what was offered.

Nice quiet area in the center of town. The breakfast there was fantastic and recommend dinner there when they are serving it!!!!!!

The hotel has no parking lot but park is available on the street using a parkschein (a ticket that you purchase). Parking is manageable and the staff is very helpful. We stayed five days and enjoyed it.

This hotel was a very authentic, family run business. The staff were very busy but still saw to our needs even with limited English on their part and no German on ours! The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our brief stay there

Nice family-owned hotel in the middle of town with a good European style breakfast and eggs made to order. Home-made and locally baked beads and pastries. Pleasant staff. Several other restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

Good stay. Nice hotel in center of town. Had stairs to climb to get to room.

Check in was easy and quick. The penthouse we stayed in was pretty empty but still comfortable. The TV was old, but hey, it's just a place to stay over night. When we were checking out there was a misunderstanding. They didn't have in their system that I have paid already. After getting off the phone 30 minutes later, the manager gave us the okay to go. The breakfast was nothing special, it was your typical continental breakfast. I wouldn't spend the extra money for the upgrade. A standard room is good enough; you wouldn't be missing out unless you have a lot of people in your party. The staff was really nice the entire time though!
