It was a great experience for a solo traveller who wanted to park her car in a hotel and leave it there til she left giving plenty of time to potter round Padstow. Beautiful hotel, a luxurious treat.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice and clean. Would visit a harbour hotel again.

Downstairs room a bit noisy late evening and early morning due to restaurant above.

Overall I had a very nice stay. I was however, disappointed on the first night, which was my birthday not to be able to book a room in the restaurant due to a wedding taking place. It would have been nice to have been made aware of this beforehand. Just be prepared to pre book the restaurant.

Liked the continental breakfast.

We had booked two rooms at this hotel. The one we stayed in had a really overpowering sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which would be ‘covered up’ with a lot of air fresheners after house cleaning. I complained about it to staff and nothing was changed, with staff not mentioning it again. The other room was fine, and, besides the smell, both rooms were clean and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was good, though the complimentary breakfast has very few options (they really want you to upgrade for a paid cooked breakfast). The staff were lovely and hard working, I just wished they had at least helped me understand what was going on with the smell in the bedroom.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Harbour Hotel; reception staff were friendly and informative as were the bar staff. The estuary room we had was nice, with every amenity we needed, including a free gin (would have been even better if the tonic was free). Perfectly located to walk into town and lovely views of the river from the restaurant / bar. Breakfast was good, although there is a £10 charge for cooked options.

Very friendly staff, ideal location, pet friendly. Food was excellent and dog was allowed in breakfast room for dinner.

Lovely stay. Great hotel and location. Room was fantastic as were the staff. Randomly they don’t sell crisps or peanuts at the bar - which I thought was odd. Still a 5 star stay though.

Staff are amazing. Front of house were so helpful. They are in the midst of replacing the carpets in the bedrooms which is needed. But the hotel is so lovely. Very clean and close to everything that you need.

Simple Mediterranean breakfast more than adequate but full menu available if required
