The staff was friendly, and it was a tranquil spot with plenty to do, such as biking and walking. The room was clean but needed updating. The restaurant was the only letdown. The food ordered in the evening took a long time to turn up. When it finally did, mine was warm, and my wife's was cold—it was supposed to be hot. There was also a lack of cereals and fruit for breakfast. In summary, it was overpriced for what was on offer.

We only stayed there one night as it was very convenient for our purpose. The lady at reception was very friendly and te room was spacious, light and clean, with comfortable beds and a good shower.

I booked a hotel with a double bed and a swimming pool. Both were available when I booked, but when we arrived pool was not in use and hotel room was two single beds pushed together. When I complained about this i was told that hotel had no double beds even though it was on the hotel website. Room had lots of scimmel, absolutely discusting.

Nature is beautiful. But parking was pretty far from room. Room was on the floor without terrace with very tight stairs what's making difficult bringing all luggage to the room. Only rooms on the ground floor are ok, especially, because they have terrace with table and chairs.

check in was the worst i have ever done, this was after lockdown but they have not adapted or moved with the times like other hotels. The pool is always locked have to book it in advance through reception but as reception seems to alwaysbe busy with guests they never answer the phone so we walked to reception to book a swimming time slot. We were given a time to return to reception to get a key, was raining lots and after swimming continued raining so not pleasant walking around site having to return a key, the sauna was locked so we couldnt use that. The rooms are clean but very hot, you have to request a fan at reception but this has little impact. There are a lot better places to stay for the same price.

The best thing about the hotel was that it was close to the Open Air Museum in Arnhem and De Hoge Veluwe. It was quiet as we were in number 18 which is at the back corner. The room we had was quite large but the it needed to be updated. There were stains in the shower and mirror was in poor condition. Also a guest needs to be aware that you will NOT be parking outside your room or not even near as we had to park in the main car park some distance away. We were strictly told to only to park in designated parking areas, but people did park at any wide place in the narrow drives. Our carpets were never swept during the 3 days we stayed.

sewage smell in bathroom and missing tea and coffee in rooms otherwise a difference experience if you need a location where you can come and go over a few days without the normal hotel reception and corridors, perfect choice

I have stayed nowhere like this before, it is essentially a small village of apartments in the woods. Very different but enjoyable. Rooms were clean and breakfast was basic but nice.

This hotel is a collection of two storey units set in the most delightful surroundings. Visitors should be aware that cars can be driven around but not parked just outside as there are designated parking areas. If you book a room without a terrace then you have a spiral staircase to climb with your luggage. Not a consideration for the able bodied but something to keep in mind for others. The bedroom was a very good size and well furnished. The bathroom was the same and included both a bath and shower. However, the decor and furnishings are looking a bit tired and could be a little cleaner. Food is served in the main building, in my case 48 steps from my apartment or walk to the car parking area and drive the car round providing there was a parking space when you get there. The food was delicious in a relaxed atmosphere with attentive staff.

I wanted to get away from the madding crowd and I did. The hotel is a little shabby for a 4star. Overall I rate it as average.

We enjoyed our three night stay. The ground floor room was comfortable, very clean and with a door that opened on to a paved area and woodland. The rooms are set in woodland- which is not a 'manicured' garden but attractive non the less. It was a five minute walk to breakfast from our room which we enjoyed. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast which included a variety of breads, cheeses, cereal, juice fruit and drinks. We ate in the restaurant twice, enjoyed our meals and thought the service was excellent. The hotel's location was near the motorway but not so close that you could hear it. It as easy to drive to places of interest such as the national park and the Hartenstein Museum at Oosterbeek.

While the view of the restaurant area seemed stunning on driving up to the hole- on checking there was a limited menu- also while going round the grounds for a walk several areas seemed quite dilapidated and run down. It was fine as a base place to stay because we had a car, but definitely not somewhere we would either particularly return to or recommend to others. The room was clean and adequate, but there were issues with noise levels late at night on one of the nights we stayed there- Our guess is you either love it or not be so enamored by it and we tended to veer to the latter.

The location was very nice in the woods but they don't have WiFi service at all! I think it is because of the trees and hills their internet service doesn't work. Regarding the second floor on the cabanas, they should specify that it's not recommended to people that are not cliffhangers! Their steps are as steep and as spiral as you will ever get. Not recommend to people with vertigo either.
