Arrived Thursday 2pm. For a 2 night stay. A special weekend, celebrating my hisbands 65th Birthday.
The Radiator in room was not working. So arranged for maintenance.
Maintenance took forever so eventually were given a plug-in heater and got the air con heat to work but it was raining constantly and wanted to use the radiators to dry off outdoor wear.
24 hrs later it wasn't fixed and quite honestly, we were fed up with asking. The maintenance team always seemed to be ½ hour away, then said they though the heat in the room was good enough but that was not the point.
The Radiator should have been working, We felt like we were fighting a losing battle. We were also sent an email which was ridiculous. Grammer was awful. This was the last straw.
Eventually it was fixed after we "let rip" in reception.
If we could have, we would have moved to a different hotel but, we had paid in advance for the room and parking.
We left before 8am Sunday. Couldn’t wait to get away.
Totally spoilt weekend, What a waste of time & money.
