Very good but room wasn’t ready - booked two rooms and only 1 was ready one hour after checkin time

We stayed for 2 nights and never had hot water in all the time despite reporting the issue to reception. Expected better from Hilton.

Nice hotel but I really think for the price that drinking water should be provided free in rooms. Also my bathroom floor didn’t look to have been cleaned well between guests. That said, I managed to park right outside and it wasn’t far to walk into the city, maybe 20 minutes.

Beautiful hotel, very good customer service. Only downside was the breakfast. We were charged £17 per person for a pretty lacklustre offering. My husband requested pancakes which were on the menu for an additional £2.50, so we were expecting a spectacular stack as a result; what he got was a couple of shop bought small pancakes to go with a very dry sausage and one rasher of bacon. Given that everything else was top-notch in the hotel, we feel they should perhaps review their breakfast and invest in some local specialities for the price charged - and definitely not charge extra for a couple of floppy pancakes.

Staff did what they could to make the stay better, but we had to move rooms (to a smaller one) to get away from the first. Very noisy aircon, single glazed windows, barely any hot water from the shower, flickering lights, etc., though staff were pleasant and helpful.

Cooked breakfast was of a poor standard and given then expense, it should be up there with the best.

We didnt have breakfast. Restaurant was closed for private event but we were not told in advance. Despite messaging we were not able to get an electric charge port. Team very friendly hhough, reception staff were lively. Very clean and comfy.

Hotel was a great location, clean and warm and all the staff bar our initial welcome by a receptionist was first class ( we did not see that receptionist again - cold, abrupt and not bothered) but everyone else was amazing. The peacock bar was lovely and a nice twist on major cocktails with a Yorkshire twist and the breakfast was so nice, great staff and freshly cooked food nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully decorated rooms provided you like art-deco. Very conveniently located. Breakfast whilst not plentiful excellent quality, more so than the dinner. Service excellent.

Very short staffed I’m not sure if it’s that few for a reason and room ceiling had mould all over it but otherwise comfy bed shower room enough for what you need

Staff, room, decor, bed linen, all fabulous!! Disappointing you don’t get a small carton of milk in fridge though! Pathetic sachets of milk
