Clean and spacious room

Room was nice and the staff were lovely

Located in the loft room with low ceilings, which is fine as long your not taller than 6ft. Electric Radiator was broken so was supplemented by a stand alone radiator, it was sufficient to warm the room. The only issue was a loud fan noise above the Bathroom ceiling which switched on and off every half an hour throughout the night, which kept us awake 💤

The room was very dated. We appreciate that it’s an old building however the bathroom in particular needs updating.

Easy check in. Team friendly and helpful. Room spacious and clean. Comfy bed. Great location in town. Tap room in hotel good for local ales. Will go again

Lovely location, room was really nice. Only issue was the car park let me in but there were no spaces and then I had to work out how to get the code to get back out! But would highly recommend hotel

Big clean room, lovely reading room, tap room and bar.

Great room and hotel.

Perfect location - castle, cathedral, museum and shops within easy walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities in room always a plus! Carpark to the rear also a bonus. En suite shower room adequate, (plenty of hot water and good shower pressure), but a bit tired, and loo flush woefully poor. But it's an old and quirky building so........ Breakfast OK. Had 2 evening meals, very tasty and plenty of veg.

Nice clean room, staff at check in were friendly and helpful also the staff at breakfast.

We loved the relaxed beautiful interior of the Inn. The staff were so kind, friendly polite. I would like to thank a Caroline who asked the kitchen to put 2 Sunday rost aside for us and as she left at the end of her shift on reception came into the sitting to tell us she had made sure we would have a rosy dinner that evening

Lovely find. Room clean and very comfortable. Value for money. Conveniently located in a lovely area.

We didnt opt for the breakfast but it had a lovely bar and was very central and convenient. We parked on the road just past the castle, just a few mins away.

This may sound silly but the room we got did not match the picture. I was looking forward to the cute photo room and instead we were in the auxiliary section which was far more utilitarian. The place was clean and tidy and staff helpful for depositing our bags when we arrived early. The roast beef sunday dinner was plentiful and tasty. Not sure about the yorkshire pudding thing, would have preferred a roll.

Loved the building. Something to see on every wall and in every corner. If charm and character is your thing, then visit this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

We requested and received ground floor rooms as there is no elevator on the property. Check in was quick and easy and our room clean and well equipped with coffee/tea, iron, hair drier etc. Dining was not inexpensive but good qualty and plentiful. The location is very central and a very short walk to restaurants and Arundel Castle.
