All the staff were amazingly friendly and attentive. The pools were lovely, as was the small beach on the property, and daily themed activities and music meant there was always something interesting to do and eat. The resort is small compared to some others along the hotel zone, so if you prefer a cozy atmosphere this is the place for you! Downtown Cancún and attractions along the Hotel Zone / Zona Hoteleria are equally accessible by local bus from the hotel as well.

Please read. Before my trip. I read a lot of reviews about this hotel. I decided to go here. Its is a good place to stay. Food was my low rate number. its is basic and it seems repeatedly. but hear me well, its is not bad. There is basically no amenities. However, personal is excellent: Oscar, Jose, Miguel, Marta David, just to mention some, but all of them are really friendly. Every time I asked for help, they were there. One note: They say the company treats them well, and this is a very import for me. The Beach? one of the best in the area. I walked a long the beach and found out others don have it that clean as Cancun Bay does. Also, I would like to advise those who book the "Share ride" Its good, but let me tell you something that would save you money and time. Book an Uber. its is cheaper and faster. It's less than $20.

Had a great stay at Cancun Bay Resort. The rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and the location was perfect with beautiful ocean views. The food was good and the pool area was relaxing. Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable experience—would definitely come back again!

Arrival was not the best. Poor customer service from the front desk staff. We were then checked into a room that wasn’t what we booked and was not in good condition. IE not all private rooms/bathrooms, missing tv but had a spot on the wall, not enough outlets, ac worked poorly in one room and safe was not secured. Talked to the front desk three times asking questions and trying to get changed to what we booked. With the language barrier it was difficult to understand what the problem was and if it would actually be resolved. Kept being told to come back at 930 which was late for not being able to get settled in when we arrived at 3. Finally got a new room at 8. It was more like what we had booked and was nicer. We were grateful it got worked out. The rest of the staff seemed friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was not thoroughly cleaned and needs some attention. No one came in the 2nd day at all and constantly asked for more bottled water. The property seemed to be more for locals than those from other parts of the world as everything was primarily in Spanish. This was not advertised online and different from other resorts we have stayed in. We enjoyed the smaller beach but overall would not return. We enjoyed the smaller beach and being able to have a covered place to chill. Being a smaller property it wasn’t overcrowded. There was entertainment most nights that was very loud. We made it work for us but won’t return.

Hotel has a great service, cleaning crew every morning and daily housekeeping, very friendly staff, great location, great amenities, lots to do, clean pools for relaxing by the bar and the beach, amazing experience!!! And the price to stay there is very affordable for all inclusive. 5 stars ⭐️

Todo la estancia fue formidable, el personal de servicio en general fue formidable, atentos, cordiales, la limpieza muy buena. Entre otras atenciones del personal se resalta la atención especial del agente de viajes Gamael, el agente conserge Sam, en la carpeta izel, y en prevención y mantenimiento Francisco, el camarero de la playa Javier Tuve problemas con el aire en la habitación y fue resuelto con inmediates, al igual con una ilumunaria interior de la misma manera también Por ser un hotel pequeño necesitara siempre mantener el mantenimiento de los equipos de aire, accesorios de baño como llaves de lavamanos reponerse, cortinas de baños, etc Sin embargo el personal de servicio de forma general se esmera por satisfacer siempre al cliente Muy buena la calidad y variedad de los alimentos, surtidos, variados con buen sabor Mi opinión general y sentido general en mi estancia, todo fue muy excelente y excepcional

Grat environment and great staff!

We all enjoyed our time there. Staff was very welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. Marco was our favorite bartender and quick with all our drinks. 10/10

The staff was great and very nice. The problem is that the one pool closes and 6pm, the other pool closes at 8pm, the pool bar closes at 6pm, the burger place closes at 5pm, and they also only allow you to get one clean pool towel per day. With the fact that this is a hotel and not a resort, there is not much to do when everything closes early. It seems like this hotel is more designed for the older crowd.

The resort as a whole was amazing. Rooms were clean, food was awesome, staff was really friendly and the pool/beach were amazing.

Overall, the Cancun Bay Resort is a budget-friendly hotel, but the reality is quite different from the pictures. When we arrived, the first room was dirty and things left on the bed, possibly even blood stains or makeup stains and even though we were given a free upgrade, the new room still wasn’t up to expectations. Staff repeatedly entered our room without knocking up to six times which made us feel extremely unsafe, especially with children. While it was marketed as all-inclusive, food options were limited, and not all drinks were included. On the plus side, though, even with a late flight, they let us keep using the facilities after checkout, and they stored our bags, which was really convenient. To their credit, when we reported an AC leak on the first night, maintenance did fix it quickly. So, it can work for a budget stay, but families especially should be cautious, as privacy and cleanliness were major concerns for us.

Poolside seating very comfy, room was cleaned every day very well, the shows were amazing…loved everything!

Amazing service, clean hotel, pools close early and not much entertainment.

What made me choose this hotel initially is its size. Since booking there has been a partial refit which has made the hotel look much fresher. We were upgraded to Master Suite. This was a nice gesture, but as there were only 3 of us we spoiled for space. I would say that this isn't what most people would think is a suite. It has 2 bedrooms one of which is ensuite and a further 2 sleeping areas which surround an area with a table & chairs, along with a sort of kitchen area with a sink, coffee maker and fridge. The beach and pool areas are lovely. Never overcrowded
