Only comments are how hot our room was and breakfast waiting staff appear to have little serving training. There was a small fan in the room but could do with something more cooling or larger fan. Great facilities and although we didn't eat lunch/dinner, the food looked amazing. Waiting staff lent over us eating to clear plates of our party on a couple, of occasions, also took the fruit as I was picking & barged past us at the servery a few times. However, this experience wont put us off going there again and we will definitely stay there again

Even though the property is a little vintage it’s still charming and well kept, the spa area is adequate and clean, the rooms are cosy, the buffet dinner was good, the breakfast excellent. All the staff are brilliant, polite and courteous. I enjoyed my stay very much and would likely return.

I booked a deluxe room and upon check in they gave a standard family room which was old, dusty no walk in shower. Just a poor condition over head tap. Mouldy bath and things flaking off. Reception said over booked and cpuldnt do anything. Spoke to the reception next day and had to keep explaining myself that its wrong they overbooked and didnt provide me the room and experience paid for. The steam room was also filthy and sauna broken planks inside.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds surrounded by a golf course. the hotel itself is clean and the staff are very friendly, like other reviews the rooms are little dated, but not in a bad way, and they very spacious unlike some modern hotels. the food at breakfast was good, with plenty of options and again he dining room was spacious and we didn't feel on top of other guests.

I chose this hotel for the facilities and the quiet location. On the whole it was a good choice, however, due to our room having a 'connecting door' with the room next to us we did not get the sleep we'd hoped. It literally sounded like the people in the next room were in our room. The rest of the stay was good. It would be nice if people didn't crowd the bar staff on busy nights though, and kept their manners towards them. They worked hard!

My family stayed for 1 night while visiting Drayton Manor Theme Park. The hotel is set in lovely grounds with a good outside area by the bar with lots of tables. The staff at breakfast were amazing, really accomodating and brought me gluten free cornflakes and toast specially made. We visited on a particularly hot day and I was a bit worried about the lack of air conditioning. Our room had a fan in the cupboard and this worked really well even thought there were 4 of us in the same room. The pool nice and clean and there was a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for the adults to use. All in all, really pleased!

Rooms were good and clean, breakfast was good but the waiter didn't tell me i could order poached eggs as he said everything was self service and only realised when the next table ordered, by then i had fried. Pool was good and lovely hot tub, sauna and steam room. Main downside as a single female was there was no room key entry to the accommodation block, anyone could walk in from the golf course and there was no chain on the room door as an extra security measure. There was no reason not to feel safe, it was a lovely hotel in lovely surroundings but this would have been just a small thing to help give peace of mind.

We had a lovely, relaxing weekend stay at Forest of Arden Hotel and Spa. The hotel was clean, friendly staff, amazing facilities, including a jacuzzi pool, steam room and sauna which we enjoyed making the most of over the weekend. I highly recommend and am planning on coming back again soon.

First impressions were good. Beautiful grounds and plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly. Room was ok, not the cleanest but the bed was comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good but pricey. Parts of the hotel look worn and could do with a good clean. The corridor was noisy at night. Overall, not bad for the price.

Booked in for a family celebration, meal and overnight stay. The hotel staff were really helpful in ensuring we had what we needed including accommodating members of our party with mobility issues.

We enjoyed our stay. However, areas for improvement are no air conditioning in bedrooms or bar / dining areas making it quite uncomfortable. There was also black mould around the bath / shower and the fan / vent in the bathroom did not work. The toilet flush was also very poor. We also received a hostile welcome by one member of staff on the reception desk upon check in, which was disappointing. However, the staff in general were very polite and hard working.
