Great quaint hotel! Love the bassets

There is alwasy sketchy people yelling outside this hotel. They have updated the rooms, I enjoyed my room, BUT the rest of the hotel is not that nice, they only have ONE luggage cart for a 3 floor large hotel, and I told the lady I had an injury and if she can put me on bottom floor close to exit and she said no, put me third floor furthest room possible. The curly haired staff lady was unpleasant, when I asked about the luggage cart as it was a struggle to carry my things she just said if it's not there guess someone has it...... They should update a little more than just the rooms.

Perfect location for an event at Elk Lake and handy for meals in Sidney. The front desk staff was very friendly - I will stay here again.

The building and decor are one of a kind. The room was clean, spacious and modern, staff are very helpful and welcoming, I would definitely stay there again!

Value for money was poor. Breakfast waffles were ok but the rest was terrible.

It is very convenient from the airport and easy access into Victoria. always friendly staff. nice place as well. Reasonable price for Victoria.

We checked in early and that was fine. Hotel side has been recently renovated. Hotel and continental breakfast are fabulous. The bar/restaurant is shabby and old tho still has a wee bit of charm.

Cool place, great rooms. Unfortunately the front desk clerk was rude and seemed miserable. Seemed like maybe she had had enough of bad customers over the years so now she's taking it out on the good customers.

The hotel is full of charm and character. The front desk staff member was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. And it was a treat to have a cup of tea by the fire in the library. Wish we were staying longer!

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Large rooms, clean, quiet, strong and stable WiFi and more amenities. The bedding was spotless and very comfortable with lots of pillows to choose from. The front desk staff was very helpful and having a free breakfast was a plus. We will definitely be staying here again. The attached Pub had good food and drinks as well. Thank you for a great experience.
