Upon arrival, I was welcome and then a sign was placed in front of my face explaining how it was new policy that an additional $200 for deposit was required at the time of check-in, that was not included in the hotel policies or hotels.com where they're advertise policies. Then the room was supposed to have a fireplace and it absolutely did not the hotel was supposed to have an indoor pool which it did but was not working so we were allowed to use the hotel across the street swimming pool which was a major inconvenience with five children dead of winter too close to dry too and too cold to walk to never mind not having the ability to shower change or dry off and then return across the street to the hotel where our actual rooms were. Did I mention we had to bring our own towels from one hotel to the other because there were no towels or anything of the sort provided in an attempt to remedy this huge inconvenience and disappointment. There was no discount accommodation or genuine apology for the inconvenience and disappointment!
