A bit dilapidated and needing repairs. Water was very slow to warm up (unusual for hotels) and not very hot at max. Included breakfast was pretty poor. No fruit. No bread options beyond sliced white and wheat.

Room was not clean..chipped paint, broken appliances. Hotel located in extremely poor part of town. Vagrants hanging around lobby at night. Reservation was not as confirmed. Wife and i were extremely uncomfortable in and outside of hotel.

We have stayed here a number of times. Unfortunately this time, the TV didn't work and wasn't fixed during our stay. The lamp beside the bed was not working properly. There was a bad order in the hallway on the third floor The staff was great and the housekeeping was great

Smells bad. Definitely does not seem to be smoke free. Not very clean. Old and dated.

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever been in. The floors were sticky throughout the entire hotel. The carpet in the room was heavily stained, the bedsheets were also heavily stained and appeared like they were not washed prior to arrival. There was a wet sticky substance on all walls, shelves, nightstands, all surfaces. The bathroom sink did not drain, toilet was very slow to flush, shower took multiple attempts to turn on and kept shutting off mid shower due to the lever struggling to stay in place. The room smelled strongly of B/O. Hotel is not in a safe neighborhood, upon arrival there was an individual clearly on drugs tweaking out in the lobby, hotel staff did not address. An individual attempted to enter our room with key card numerous times throughout the night. The door never unlocked for him but it was deeply unsettling that he kept attempting. The neighborhood was noisy all night, shoes were flung over power lines right next to hotel, after lobby incident, I wonder if hotel is involved and/or is the meetup location for such exchanges, I felt very unsafe. This was not at all a clean location or a pleasant experience,

This was a scam. I had asked for anon smoking room but was offered smoking room. I need a full refund plus compensation for the other hotel that I had to book after 2 hours of searching

Statement of Concern Regarding Non-Compliance with Connecticut’s Clean Indoor Air Act by Super 8 Stamford It has been observed that the Super 8 hotel located in Stamford, Connecticut, is in violation of the Connecticut Clean Indoor Air Act (Conn. Gen. Stat. § 19a-342), which prohibits smoking in outdoor areas within 25 feet of building entrances, operable windows, or air intake systems. Hotel guests are frequently seen smoking directly at the main entrance, where both adults and children regularly enter and exit the lobby. Furthermore, the property owner and/or operators appear to have made no reasonable efforts to ensure compliance with this statutory requirement. Notably, there are no visible signs posted to inform the public that smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of the building, as recommended by state guidelines. This lack of preventive measures contributes to ongoing violations and poses a potential health risk to guests and staff.

Very old property

1. old tired place 2. muggy rooms, you cant open windows 3. 2 kids-size worn pillows for 2 adults 4. they ran out of towels
