I have booked in the recenbt past several super 8 - Windham, they were simple, but very clean with efforts to look better. This one is a shame for Windham; no proper lobby just a dirty room in the basement also used for storage of stuff... the whole building smelled old smoke, the room had a carpet not cleaned for ages, everything was dirty except the sheets! I dont understand why Windham would put its name on such shabby motel not worth the $88!

Police was knocking on my door within a hour after arriving looking for someone to arrest. Halls smelled of pot. Room stunk

Wasn't great, felt dirty the whole time

It was horrible. The rooms smelled horrible, they weren't clean and I could barely bring myself to use the bathroom. Hotels.com should be vetting the hotels you recommend, especially since we are not from around Topeka. The neighborhood was sketchy and overall I am very upset and will not be using Hotels.com in the future.

Ease of reserving and convenient place with convenient price

I am very disappointed in this experience. We arrived late & our reservation was cancelled (audits/time frame). We needed a room anyway. These pictures are what was given to us. Terrible safety measures on the window & door, carpet was ripped, bathroom ceiling was leaking, NO SMOKE DETECTOR, hole in bathtub. What in the actual hell is going on here? In the morning, I showed the manager that she was apologetic, and she agreed that this room should never have been rented. She said I could be refunded. I hope that is fulfilled. I never brought my things in from my car.

I would sleep in my car before I'd stay at this place again.

We were here for my nephew's graduation and chose this hotel cause everything was booked. We drive up to hotel for one ot looked nothing like the picture on hotels. I go to check in the lobby same thing looks nothing like the pictures. We got checked in had to drive around hotel which was very appealing. Walk in the door then have to go down some steps like we going into a dungeon to get to the first floor. We open our room door and its so small in the room it looked nothing like the pictures on the site either.

It was awful!! The room we booked online was not what we received! It was very run down. Filthy! No toliet paper and the toliet was clogged! Could not get money back abd needed a place to rest for the night so we made the best of it. But will not be back and do not recommend!!

This hotel is very convenient, right off of I-70. The staff is courteous and helpful. The room had a fridge and microwave. The carpet was very dirty and stained and the entire place needs ipdated. The breakfast was extremely limited and horrible!

The bedding was horribly stained and carpets also stained. Seriously needs a remodel.

Love it close to highway

Not a pleasant stay. Won't be back. Like the price. The staff did try to correct some issues.

Had bad smell in room. The carpet dirty so we wouldn't walk barefoot. Kept everything off the floor

The property looked like it should’ve been torn down. Broken windows, curtains falling from windows and the lobby smelled of cigarette smoke. Very dissatisfied. Would like a refund!

I like a cup of coffee to start my day. Despite advertising a breakfast, no cream or sugar was provided even after it being requested. I had to change rooms because the tv in the first room didn’t work. I had to move all my luggage again, when all I wanted to do was collapse on my bed and relax and watch tv.

The carpet smelled like it hadn’t been shampooed and decades, as well as the complementary breakfast was nothing nothing at all they would have the empty containers out and nothing in them
