Great location, direct access to the Lanes with their wonderful small shops and great restaurants, Only down was that one of the lift's was out of action the whole weekend we spent there.

Lovely stay, the pool was abit strict for kids I wouldn’t recommend the staff weren’t overly nice about it either. Rooms are nice family room could be abit bigger and family rooms offer no sea view only 2 bedroom 1 child location is best part of hotel

Staff not particularly friendly. No warm smiles (despite a beautiful day) or advice. Questions were met with curt replies. Asking about late checkouts told to ask on the day and told there would be a 20/hour charge. Despite saying I needed just 15-20 mins for a call - no compromise. No alternatives - just a simple computer says no! Found the place to be souless and not v warm. Paying close to 400 for 2 days - and I get the responses and feel of travel lodge! Won't be returning will stick to Hotel Du vin.

Really nice hotel. We stayed in the top floor suite. bass coming from a local club until early hours was loud , even with windows closed (and being on top floor)

My room was spacious, light and cool. Comfy kingsize bed with nice little touches. There was a varied breakfast buffet, lovely food and helpful staff! I also liked where the hotel was situated on the waterfront. A ten minute walk to the pier and it also has a rear entrance which leads to the shops and restaurants.

Stayed at Leonardo several times before and it never disappoints. Lovely room with all facilities and very clean. Staff friendly and polite, the hotel is in an excellent location for beach or stroll around Brightons famous Lanes

Overall, the weekend stay was good. The hotel was clean and the staff in the restaurant and bar were very friendly and helpful. Reception staff were a bit of a mixed bag but in fairness hampered by Hotels.com/Expedia sending across the booking details incorrectly despite them having been meticulously entered. Restaurant food was mixed up by the kitchen but the waiting staff kindly offered a discount on the meal for the inconvenience. 90% of the meals were excellent a couple of them were below par. Was all based on what was ordered I guess. Guest toilets require better management - the accessible toilet remaining without toilet paper for over 1/2 a day despite a request to deal with the lack of paper in the toilet being made. The light in the accessible lift was also dying and therefore would go dark with a strobe light show for the 10-15 seconds the doors were closed. Nothing major but would expect a well managed hotel to deal with these little maintenance issues effectively. A big plus for this hotel was their accessible bedroom and the care and attention shown by the manager and staff in assuring those guests staying in the room were looked after. Very much appreciated.

Housekeeping efficient and friendly. Easy checkin. Staff at reception friendly and welcoming . Annie in particular was excellent.

My 10 year old son and I stayed here for three nights to celebrate his birthday. The location was great for accessing all of Brighton's entertainment options. We enjoyed use of the pool and the breakfast was adequate. The cleaning staff seem to be understaffed as one day our room wasn't cleaned and the next day it was cleaned at 5:00 after several requests. Overall, we were satisfied and would stay again.

Fantastic family stay — the pool was a real highlight! I had a fantastic stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront. The location was perfect, the room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved the pool, which was a brilliant bonus and made the stay feel extra special. A great choice for a family break in Brighton — we would happily stay again!
