This property definitely needs some attention paid to the physical plant. It is a bit shabby and down-at-heel, particularly in the hallways. However, it was clean and my room received daily attention; the staff was outstanding. From the front desk to the room attendant(s), everyone was friendly, attentive and courteous. That goes a long way to making one's stay pleasant!

Very friendly and helpful staff.

It's a good location for restaurants and shopping but the parking lot is full of large potholes to avoid. Also the carpet in my room had a large tear it in right in the middle of the room. The room was clean and fully functioning.

Dirty clothes in closet that was left behind. Stained sheets.

The hotel served its purpose. It’s pretty dated and a bit rough around the edges. But the staff were lovely and helpful.

Very bad customer service

I’m just looking for very basic places to stay and this fits my criteria perfectly

A good hotel. A warning about the steps down when entering the room would have been nice. Continental breakfast was very basic and limited.

Main common area smells of bad odour, although room is clean and well scented, breakfast underwhelming.

The staff are lovely but this is such a run down hotel it is so old and gross with a price that doesn’t match it as it should be way way way cheaper. Disappointed that the options were limited in the city but I guess it did its job of being somewhere to stay for a night

It was very quiet. Rooms are very clean and great staff.

Bathroom definitely needs repair attention. Bathroom barre steps between entry/bathroom access and room. Worrisome at night!

Staff very nice. The carpets look a little worn.

I did not expect stairs in the room going from the bathroom area to the bed area, especially in a ground floor room. Terrible paint colour in the room, damaged/scratches on the walls. Large visible water (I hope it was not urine) stain on the couch. Old worn out carpet. Poor lighting in the parking area.

This entire property needs an overhaul. Paid more for 2 queens got 2 double beds. The hotel repeatedly told us they were queens. The maid told us they were doubles plus the fact we know what a double bed looks like. The hotel and rooms smell like stale smoke. Carpets are disgusting in the halls and rooms. Our furniture was so old and dirty we didn’t sit on it. We asked for blankets we received 2, both with holes all over them. I was hoping the reviews I saw for the hotel were over dramatic, they are not. We stayed with a youth sports team otherwise we would have left and found something else. The only good qualities about this hotel is the location. The “breakfast” is not breakfast like at other hotels. Would not recommend.

Our stay was awful. The pillows were thin. The condition of the hotel is the worst I’ve ever seen. For $162 a night it should’ve been a LOT better. Did not feel comfortable. Felt like I had to wear my socks in the bedroom due to unclean floors. Bottom of the barrel when it comes to place to stay. Would never stay here again

This property is nothing like advertised the property was very run down with rips in carpet and peeling wallpaper and the tv was blurry the hallways were very dirty and again carpet was ripped in multiple spots there is no soundproofing so you can hear everything in the room next to you and hallways The pillows were stained as well as the pillow protectors the heat did not work in our room and the “free breakfast” was coffee and granola bars

The heater was not working and there were no blankets on the bed nor in the closest. Bed had only light bed sheet and a thin bedspread on top. Was very cold all night. Otherwise, room was clean and well appointed for the price.

No elevator...had to carry luggage up flights if stairs.

The place is close to lots of restaurants…and it works for me
