Right in the park. Great location and clean

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not close to downtown, and it gives a feeling of privacy. Very helpful staff.

It wasn't a walkable property, and the tram didn't run the days we were there. I would have liked to have done and seen more, but when one is of a certain older age, walking can be difficult.

We arrived before 10 but the staff told us the kitchen and room-service was closed, even though the website says it doesn’t close until 10. It was not possible to book almost anything at the spa since staff told us there was no availability, even though we barely saw any other guest in the spa area. The hotel is nice, but a bit overpriced.

Good location for walks and outdoor space but out of town if you’re looking for something lively. Breakfast was good, staff very polite. Room very spacious although bathroom a little dated.

Very friendly staff, excellent rooms and location. Special mention to the breakfast staff who took wonderful care of a member of our party who was gluten and lactose intolerant. The natural pool is a cool feature.

Modern clean rooms and friendly staff. Excellent spa and great walks in the Bergpark. I always feel calm when I leave here. Great breakfast buffet.

Convenient location, next to the UNESCO park. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast spread and good dining. Hotel provides free tram rides to the city.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Breakfast very tasty with lots of options. The gym though is very disappointing and let’s the spa down.

Nice hotel with potential. The hotel is situated on the top of the city in a park which is great. Overall we had nice stay. The service was good and the rooms clean. Why potential? The furniture and decor is kind of old school for example they use purple lights in the evening which was cool in the 90s, now it looks a little bit cheap. The rooms lack a cozy atmosphere.. The Spa area could be a little bit warmer. Especially the pool is small therefore the temperature should be higher because its not really used to swim but rather relax in the water. With a nice design concept the hotel has great potential.

Very nice clean hotel with excellent restaurant and breakfast buffet. Modern rooms. The only problem I had was walking up hill 10 minutes from the tram station.

Hotel is a bit dated and the extra bed for children is awfully uncomfortable. Breakfast was decent and staff polite. Front desk lady Madeleine was super nice and super efficient at resolving the extra bed issue, so it made the other niggles disappear.

A very pleasant hotel at a perfect and quiet location, probably the best place to stay in the area. Small oddities like the need to explicitly request bathrobe and slippers were quickly addressed by the staff. The need to bring the own bathroom towels to the spa / pool / fitness area was not welcome on our side. The A/C was not up to the task on a hot day, but is probably adequate most of the year. On the food side a nice breakfast buffet secured a good start into the day and dinner was good too.

The Schlosshotel Bad, Wilhelmshöhe is a wonderful hotel. It is situated in a beautiful park. The room was large and very clean and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed there as we were in Kassel for a family wedding and I think we were the only British people there, but we were treated very well. I would recommend this hotel.

I left my luggage for storage after check-out. Upon coming back I see it standing freely next to a counter a few steps from the sliding doors that lead outside. I could not only see my luggage but a bag from another guest, from outside the entrance. I took my stuff and left. Then, since noone stopped me or took notice I went back inside to complain. I was met with complete indifference, altough anyone could have stolen our luggage and the bag of another hotel guest. I have never witnessed anything like that in my visits to hundreds of hotels. For me this is an absolute deal breaker.

The staff are so lovely and the grounds were beautiful! We loved the garden with the pond and chair swings. We also loved the swimming pool in the spa area. We traveled with our nine year old daughter and it was very family friendly! Lots to do and see nearby! Would love to come back again!

Short but comfortable stay. This hotel has a great location and makes it easy to enjoy the castle on the hill and go to the Hercules statue. Wish we had more time to enjoy it.

Great place very near beautiful grounds of the castle
