Great staff

Absolutely beautiful hotel, the rooms were so clean and cozy. The furnishings were beautiful and the shower was excellent with white company bath products. The reception were very helpful when we forgot our phone charger! Only small complaint was some loud noise late at night but I think there was a wedding on. Breakfast buffet was also 10/10, everything was so fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Very comfotable room. Friendly helpful staff. Delicious varied breakfast. Enjoyed swim etc in leisure centre. Convenient location especially for train travellers. Mass at Friary. Walked to Cathedral and Castlerosse hotel. Absolutely fab hotel.

Lovely hotel with great service. Close to town. Free Parking. Radiator heater was loud in the room. Kids loved the pool. Would recommend and would stay here every visit Killarney.

Stunning hotel. Perfect mix of family run but with a big luxurious feel. Steeped in history.

We arrived early after an overnight flight and happily found our room was ready with no extra charge. Staff was friendly and helpful. The place was bustling and service was smooth.

The service here is phenomenal. From the second we entered the hotel, all staff were exceptional. Highly recommend a stay here.

This was a great base for exploring Killarney & enjoying the city center. The staff was friendly & attentive. Loved that they have babysitting suggestions too. Highly recommend!

The Great Southern Killarney hotel was magnificent! The property was beautifully maintained and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. We highly recommend this hotel and definitely plan on visiting again!

The atmosphere and staff very relaxed and welcoming

We didn't t have time to fully appreciate the property and its rich history. The room, restaurant and gym were all very nice. It was an excellent location to town and had convenient parking adjacent to the hotel which was a major selling point for us!

One of the best hotel stays we have ever had, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel special and that did not decline throughout our stay. The hotel itself is spectacular but its greatest asset is the staff. Polite and courteous, willing to take time to engage in conversation, from the doorman through to the cleaners, service in the restaurant and the bar second to none. I was allowed to keep my road bike in my room and the welcome pack of energy bars and supplements due to doing the Ring of Kerry Charity ride was a totally unexpected treat, that just goes to show how they make your stay personal. When we return to Killarney the Great Southern will be our hotel of choice.

Very spacious room. Staff as always friendly and efficient. Easy parking. Only issue was 9pm Sunday morning just after 8am there was noise outside our room- sounded like a saw cutting thru timber or a sander- very poor that such work would be allowed 8n hotel grounds over weekend
