Bedroom was clean and tidy but the outside balconies and railings looked unsafe so we didn’t venture out onto them. The bathroom was nice but the extractor fan didn’t work which turned it into a sauna. One of the basins didn’t hold water which was a slight inconvenience when shaving, etc. The shower didn’t have a slider rail and was fixed around waist height and had to be held to wash your body unless you wanted to use the drencher head. There was also no shelf inside the shower area to put toiletries on meaning constant bending down. A shower grab rail would also have been advantageous. The toilet seat was also wonky but manageable. For a 5 star hotel complimentary daily water bottles were not provided unless you wanted to pay for it from the mini bar. Breakfast was a rudimentary continental type. Scrambled egg (with shell) was provided but if you wanted cooked eggs or omelettes there was a €7 - €15 charge. Swimming pool and sauna facilities were nice. Bar area was clean and tidy. Generally all the staff in the hotel were polite and helpful especially the receptionists.

Breakfast was lovely. I did not use the spa. We had dinner on the property and it was the best meal and experience from our trip to Italy.

good overall! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stayed at Sina Brufani in Perugia and it’s a solid choice with plenty to like. The facilities are nice, and the location is excellent — perched beautifully with great views over the city and surrounding hills. The staff were genuinely good and attentive, making the stay pleasant. Rooms were comfortable and the hotel has that classic elegant feel. That said, the famous swimming pool was a bit disappointing — nothing remarkable in reality, and the photos definitely make it look better than it is. Parking is available but comes at an extra cost. All in all, a good hotel in a wonderful spot. Worth considering, especially if the view and location are your priorities.

This is a tremendous hotel. It compares favorably with the Gray, which is my favorite hotel in Milan.

A beautiful hotel with exceptional service. We really enjoyed all aspects of your hotel. We took advantage of the pool and sauna. Our traveling bodies needed the extra care.

Charming place, immaculate, and breakfast is an adventure with so many marvelous offerings. Sadit was our server, and welcomed us each morning with love and attention to detail. Sadit Loja and the front desk attendant Valerina were the quintessential professionals who made our stay feel like we were royalty. The wellness center is indeed a real jewel of the Brufani Palace, with the heated indoor pool built under the Etruscan vaults. The steam-room, and the sauna are divine. The location is supreme and only steps out front you have a panoramic view of the majestic mountains, and many shoppes and restaurants. Apreitivo hour is a time to sit in the piazza and savor the moment. It's no wonder why such Royalty as Queen Elizabeth, and many other notables chose the Brufani Palace in Perugia, Italy as it is most definitely a supreme choice.

An excellent hotel - beautiful building and location; scrupulously clean; lovely room (junior suite); and charming, helpful staff. And the ‘valet parking’ is well worth the 20 Euros, particularly when one arrives at night during a wine festival… Delightful - highly recommended!

This hotel is amazing! We woke up to a view of the fog rolling over the mountains and into this beautiful Italian town! It was magical! The breakfast was delicious and the staff helped us get a taxi to Siena the following morning!

Lovely classic-style hotel. Friendly staff. Great cleaners. In the old town but at the edge. Superb view from Umbria - you could see for miles. Breakfast ok. Didn’t eat there but loads of restaurants nearby. Stayed 5nights. Great based for visiting other umbrian towns eg Assisi, Spello, Gubbio by train and bus.

A really beautiful hotel in the heart of the town. Perfect for sightseeing. Staff especially friendly. Excellent breakfast. The pool small but a real plus to have after a day’s sightseeing.
