The breakfast was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice they provided a fan as there is no AC but I have noticed that seems more common in Sweden not to have AC. We were able to fully open the window until bed time so that was a nice way to get cool air.

We spent one night here. The staff are very nice and helpful. The place is in good condition, looks modern and newly renovated. There were crumbs in one of our beds, which is very disturbing - seems the sheets were maybe not changed or someone was eating while making the bed? Not very sanitary. The breakfast is nice and what you would expect at a chain hotel. The dinner buffet was not edible. Plan to eat at a nearby restaurant for dinner.

Rooms have been refurbished since my last stay. Rooms feel fresh, airy and clean. Breakfast is included offering a range of food for all people. Staff are very helpful and do their best in accommodating people during their stay especially under COVID. Pool on site, however at the moment there’s restrictions on how many can be in there at one time so guests need to book a time to use the pool. Ideally the same is done for breakfast so it’s not all rushed at one time. Ample parking both inside and outside. We always park indoors under the hotel at a cost of 100kr for 24hrs.

Good hotel, unfortunately quite a lot of people when we checked in around 16:30, concerns about spread of virus. Breakfast was slotted, that should have been requested at booking. Now we had very early slot...

Great for a short stay; the hotel is Functional & clean but not luxurious. It is in a good central position in Borlange. The hotel also has a decent pool, sauna and gym. The breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were helpful. I have been told it gets very busy at weekends during ski season but it was not hectic on our mid week stay.

Every time im in Borlänge to ski at Romme I try to stay here at the scandic. For me it’s the better hotel in town. Has most facilities one can hope of, pool, sauna, games room, gym, children’s play room, bar and restaurant. There’s ample parking, underground (warm garage) costs 100kr for 24hrs or options to park outside across the road at a cost. Rooms are clean and comfortable, pillows however are on the small side. Staff are very helpful. The large buffet breakfast is very good, there a large range of food to select from.

probably the best family hotel in Borlänge for the price, it's a very popular hotel, so is pretty booked up over the winter months. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are sizeable and clean. Hotel includes a games room (table tennis & board games), swimming pool, sauna, play room for smaller children (by the reception). In the winter time the hotel is very popular for skiers as Romme Alpin is close by (15mins). Restaurant on site with good food and drinks selection, would recommend booking a table in advance (especially weekends) Underground carpark on site but at an extra cost (100kr for 24hrs). not my first visit and would definitely stay here again.

The room was just outside where they fetch the rubbish. Woke up 7.00 every morning.

Only spent a night at the hotel for a business trip so cannot comment much on the amenities although there was a gym, sauna and meeting rooms available. The hotel was decent and comfortable enough. Nothing special, just what you need. Very quiet rooms. Nice shower gel, soap and shampoo. Tasty breakfast with lots of choices. 5 min walk from the station.

The hotel is clean, efficient and functional, which on business trip to a small industrial town in Sweden serves a purpose.
