Fine for what we needed it for. We wanted to drive the Ring of Kerry so the location was good. Rooms are dated and feel a bit dirty, the bathroom also had no fan so the steam was crazy if you took a warm shower and made everything damp. Breakfast was also really pricy for what it was. Overall fine for location but pretty much what you’d expect for a 3 star.

The restaurant/ bar had horrible service. No servers, went with my family and we were never attended despite telling the bar staff we were there in a table waiting for someone to come. We had to leave to another restaurant.

Had a one night stay at the Parkavon Hotel . Staff were brilliant , were accommodated on a last minute request for the pool for a group of 8 . Nice stay and the paid breakfast was also quite nice . There was complimentary parking for guests but finding a parking apace could be tricky during summer months as Killarney is teeming with tourists .

Staff was nice and helpful, the hotel was perfect for a one night stay, it needs some updating maybe. It was clean, but it needed more attention to detailed cleaning (corners, light switches, bottom of walls etc.)

Great property in a great location, easy walk into town and loads of food options on your doorstep

This hotel was like an oasis of calm and comfort. It offered a suitable and knowledgeable starting point to exploring the Killarney lakes on foot or shopping in town. Breakfast was in a very pleasant room and provided a healthy start to each day. Staff were extremely honest and phoned when we left valuables in room.

Excellent room and front desk service.

The Parkavon is fine, although not special. It was mostly very clean (although there were hairs in my sink when I arrived), and my room under the eaves was pleasant. It has a slightly tired look -- the carpets are particularly threadbare -- and it is quite far out of town (a 15 minute walk). But the price was good, and the staff was generally helpful.

Love this hotel, stay here twice a year. A little dated, but comfortable & relaxed. Staff are always usually very friendly however this time I found a lady bar staff member particularly rude. But I will be back!
