I love the Algonquin.

Prices in dining room very high

We like the pool for our littles but it would be nice if there was a little pool for toddlers. The regular pool is too deep.

We had a great stay.

The Algonquin is getting a little dated. Showing signs of age. Worn down. Not as clean and pristine as it used to be. Electrical was not functioning well. Too many kids in the pool unsupervised.

Great old grand hotel, rooms are large! Parts of the hotel have that "Shining" feel!

I loved the hotel! The history and ghost tour was awesome! Also the food was delicious. Juat an amazing stay !

The space was nice on the exterior but the room halls elevator could use updates.

The Algonquin is a Signature resort but the poor service at check in puts everything in a poor light. We had made two separate reservation due to changing travel plans which we call ahead two days before to ensure we wouldnt have to move rooms mid stay. The front desk staff on checkin could not comprehend this simple request. The guest behind me had booked a cot 4 weeks earlier and they were force to have their teenager couch surf as that request was not honored despite it being paid for

Lovely lovely place. Never disappoints!

I love the Algonquin ! I wish they would have kept the piano / music which seems better suited for the atmosphere as opposed to rock music in the lobby area. The carpet in the hallways needs to be updated. Breakfast is $30 per person, prices have definitely gone up. Overall, I still love the Algonquin, and being able to bring your dog is a bonus !

The grand, enduring Algonquin is as beautiful as ever. It's so nice to see her refurbished. Room was lovely, bed and shower perfect. Staff warm and welcoming. Easy unload and parking. Lovely breakfast - the only suggestion is to refinish the hardwood in the lobby.

Had a wonderful stay, however we found the chef extremely rigid and unwilling to listen to our preferences, for example my wife ordered the steak and it was still very bloody and she wanted it medium wel…. She hardly touched it and staff did nothing. I’ve personally was told by 2 different sources at the hotel that some staff are afraid of the chef …

We stayed one night and it was just what we needed. Outdated but looks like they are slowly renovating. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There is just nothing to disappoint at the Algonquin. Its historic beauty is unsurpassed. We had a lovely stay. Mr. Singh checked us in and was so pleasant and helpful. Thank you.

Very comfortable place to stay. A bit like home

Had an amazing stay! Wish the room had been a bit bigger and not next to a very noisy group but overall enjoyed our time!
