Its a grand old hotel extremely well maintained in the heart of downtown. Short walk to shopping and lots of resturants and bars around.

The lobby was so poorly lit. Because it is a very old hotel, being dark does not help. I feel that when you book thru Expedia, they give you the worst possible room in the hotel. The room they gave us had zero views and the toilet in the bathroom, you can't even fit your legs.

The food and service was wonderful

Beautiful historic space. We enjoyed the special extras for the Stampede.

For a fairmont I’d say the sandman hotels established better service and cleanliness just a dirty location

Location wonderful, and lovely structure and lobby, bar, restaurant. Staff great and in particular Sultan (restaurant and bar manager. Spa jacuzzi was in repair entire stay and steam room worked one day out of 3 visits.

Very nice hotel. A little outdated in our 4th floor room but the hotel itself is lovely. Reception area and pool were very well maintained and staff were extremely helpful. Nice location.

Room was very nice & clean. Bed was super comfy. Staff helpful & nice. Great location.

The beds were nice and very comfortable. We were there during stampede so it was very busy. Loud doors that opened and closed frequently in the hallway. The shower was just a dribble and there were few toiletries in the bathroom, some of which were empty. No extras such as qtips or dental kits. Attention to these details would have been nice.

Everything is good , service is good , but I didn’t like the fact that the jacuzzi was under maintenance, but EVERYTHINT IS PHENOMENAL 10/10 SERVICE 10/10 FOOD 10/10 AMENITIES 10/10 ENVIRONMENT 10/10

Best place in Calgary downtown for stay

Everything was great ...except the parking arrangements. Parking is contracted outside the neighboring Calgary Tower.....Max is supposed to be $27 per day and $8 overnight. But that is only if you don't use your car ......Every time you go out in the vehicle it resets....and if you go out 3 x's you will likely be close to $100 per day.
