Hotel was fully booked and was told I had no room after checking in. I had to stay in the Westin for a night and find alternative arrangements for the remainder of my stay. Very poor experience

Everything was brilliant - food amazing

Great location

Unbearable experience. I am staying in a sea view room on the ninth floor for 6 nights. Every single night there is loud music till really late. Called the manager and he said tonight’s party is finishing at 2:00am and would call the venue to lower the volume. Unfortunately, nothing has changed.

This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens and with a private beach. Facilities are excellent and very well appointed but it also has a relaxed and welcoming feel. Our room was kept spotless with a huge and very comfortable bed. We love the range of different restaurant options as you can use those of the next door Westin and W as well; there is everything from Spanish, Italian, Mediterranean fish dishes, Steaks, or more 'relaxed' dining at the Horizon Pool bar. The main hotel restaurants also offer a great buffet selection every night. We visited during Ramadan so the buffet was Iftar and mostly focussed on middle eastern cuisine, but excellent and with something for everyone. The staff are really friendly and helpful; nothing is too much trouble. The Waterpark means the hotel is popular with families, and the music from the next door Barasti club means there is usually some noise around the hotel, though the rooms are very well insulated. The hotel is very conveniently situated for an easy stroll to the Marina or the tram, which is then a short hop to the mono-rail train over to the Palm. There is a Carrefour supermarket and a Pharmacy a couple of minutes walk away in case of need too. We've been coming to the Meridien Mina Seyahi for many years and always enjoy a lovely stay.

What makes this hotel stand out above? Others is simply the customer service we received from every single member of staff that works there. Whoever is training their staff need to be acknowledged as the service we received was superb and we have stayed in lots of other hotels in Dubai. Also, the beach is beautiful and the location of the beach is ideal as you don’t get all the noisy boat traffic passing that section of the beach. The gym is really well equipped and huge, hence if you enjoy a gym workout on holiday there are plenty of machines available it’s never too busy. You are able to use all of the restaurants in the Western hotel, hence you have a superb choice of evening restaurants A special mention to Jobin on the concierge team who helped my son with table bookings every single day. The room was a really good size and the daily cleaning team were superb.

The staff went above and beyond with us and our 2 young boys. Everyone is so happy to help and so friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Super stay for our family of 4. Dining options all excellent, hotel is clean and nothing is too much trouble. We felt very well looked after.

All good for a weekend with grandchildren in Waterpark. My only issue was that dinner didn’t seem to start until 7 pm which was very late for young children with a 7 pm bedtime. All else was very good and would stay again

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel for a family of 4. Breakfast was great everyday with good variety. The rooms were comfortable with enough space for our family. Bathroom was clean and had enough room for our small kids in the bath tub and shower. The service was really good from all the staff with special thanks to Vinod at the restaurant for all his help with any special requirements and making us feel at home. Vinoth at the concierge desk was also great and arranged taxis and transfers. It's best to get a private transfer from the concierge. Lastly, the facilities for kids was incredible with really awesome kid friendly pools, slides and water play areas. The kids club/family club was also great to spend time at. We stayed in Downtown Dubai on previous trips but this location allowed us to relax during the down time which is well needed when travelling with kids. There are multiple restaurants but we stuck to the pizzeria for a meal and the rest of the time we were touring but there are many options but a little pricey.

Overall great, fun little water park, good kids club, great staff and service, good food, awesome Friday buffet with entertainment. Bit pricey but that’s everything in Dubai. Don’t expect too much of the beach.

I would not stay here ever again, the staff in reception was uninformed and very Third World in their approach to issues. I had two rooms, one was so filthy the guest had to leave to another hotel, I was stuck with the room and requested refund so many times only to have third world stall games applied. In my opinion they should close and renovate. The only bright note, the vallet parking team was good.

The hotel was really great. Lots of families there. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. Also next to 2 other hotels which you can use. Would go again.
