Friendly staff Centrally located Comfortable clean room Close to resturant and mine museum Perfect for our 2 night stay

Rooms in need of maintenance as all room doors were sticking and had been for some time. No advice provided about closing of reception at 17:00 until email received when at venue; poor telecommunications is known in the area but no heads up on site. Front entrance blocked by people undertaking vehicle repairs and exit steps blocked by caravan parking across top of steps. Y ‘Experience’ was not good.

Some of the keys for entry may be a bit dodgy But if you get a dodgy keys It explains with a message on the door So it's all good

Great to stay underground, the room was terrific. Walking distance to Main Street CB. Recommend dinner at the Winch 360 for sunset.

We stayed here because of the staying underground experience. I was skeptical of the authencity in our room, looked as if it had a plaster lining rather than the rock. The bathroom was very tiny, having a shower curtain, rather than door. My husband had to sit sideways on the toilet to fit!. The place seemed tired and needed an upgrade.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was great - best coffee. Underground room clran and tidy. Thoroughly enjoyed the star. Highly recommend.

This was a great stop to make on our way to Uluru.

A beautiful hotel with amazing underground rooms and spaces. Unfortunately it is soulless. The staff were ‘over it’. Staff moral is clearly low if you can find anyone. The atmosphere could do with some people, hospitality and even some music? Just a friendly face and some level of customer service? Having said this, do stay there. Breakfast at 360 up the road is great.

Staff member was friendly and the room wasn't bad. It seemed dated as well as there is minimal airflow and the room gets hot quickly. didn't have breakfast, as well as was nervous to touch anything because of the fear of a cleaning fee

The motel was underground since it had been part of an opal mine. It was a great experience to stay underground. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast seemed expensive for coffee, juice, toast and cereal at $20 a person.

Very clean room. Great staff excellent pet friendly accommodation. The only negative from us is our room was very hot even though the foyer was quite cool. Perhaps some ducted aircon would help.

As always clean and tidy and super friendly. Even threw the ball for my dog and made us all very welcomed!

Very interesting experience, you really are staying underground! Clean room, friendly staff, great location. The selection of DVD's available to guests was appreciated. We had a faulty fridge and DVD player and they were both promptly replaced with new items. Happy with this service. NOTE - if you are relying on your phone while here there is almost NO phone signal in the rooms. The wifi is great however you will struggle to make or receive any phone calls. If you want a cool car in the morning park on the side of the car park closer to the hotel not the road as it's in the shade in the morning. The fried chicken and hot chips from the IGA are absolutely amazing as well :)

A must experience!

The greatest feature was the manager! Melissa is your star! The absent owner needs to return and do some maintenance, because it needs it. Meanwhile Melissa is doing the work of 3 people. The property has great potential and needs to support a manager who takes on the responsibilities of an owner.
