The property is run down and old.The room smelled like mold.The curtains had mold on them. We could not sleep because of how bad the smell was in the room.the bed was horrible as well not temper pedic like advertised

It is a very cute decor! Antique or rustic, vintage, boutique style looks like a hacienda from back in the day. Tranquil & quiet located in the center of a very nice neighborhood, with easy access but it’s on the corner so gets busy for parking at times. Staff was friendly and helpful & food was great! Only negative is there is no refrigerator or ice machine. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Our absolute favourite hotel in the Guadalajara area. We go on regularly from Puerto Vallarta, and we always look forward to how wonderful Mansion Del Sol is. Everything and everyone there makes our stay so enjoyable!!!

This property offers beautiful gardens and unique decor. However, carpets and showers need some updating. Also, the parking availability is limited and on a first come basis which makes it difficult because there's not a walkable plaza near by. Afternoon traffic can be challenging too since it is located at the corner of an intersection with a roundabout.

Overall I would recommend this hotel. Beautiful old hacienda style hotel. It’s like stepping back in time. Clean. Beautifully decorated hotel and gardens. **We noticed they were seeking staff positions which might answer why the restaurant breakfast server was slow. Although there was only 3 tables occupied. I was given my breakfast order but no cutlery. No problem, we got up and got it ourselves. We asked for a tiny bit of ice for our water to go and she told me to go to the nearest convenience store. Nit picking , bad day, maybe, I was just a little taken aback. Limited parking.
