Our room was very clean, great, comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Had a great coffee shop, restaurant and gift shop with help with excursions located on site! Parking was cheap and easy as well! Great location in downtown!

The carpet doesn’t look clean. Upstair doesn’t even have air condition.

This hotel is in a great Banff Downtown location, you can literally walk all over Banff downtown from this hotel. It has attached coffee shop, restaurant and an underground parking where the elevator exit is right next to the rooms. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. We will consider this hotel again as we keep going to Banff.

Excellent location and the room was quite spacious. It could use some upgrading. Carpeting did not seem clean better if hardwood especially during ski season. No gym or in room safe.

Great location on Banff Avenue so you can walk everywhere easily, clean room and comfortable bed - overall highly recommeded!

Odd design. 2 elevators to get to room and parking.

Lobby and restaurants have been renovated and had a nice appeal, but the rooms were a bit old. There were bugs in the room and loud noise at night. Should have guessed with the complimentary ear plugs on the night stand. Will probably not be a top choice although location is convenient.

Staff at front desk tireless and hard working. Room so ordinary for the price; hello Banff! Hot water needed to be restarted. Seriously nothing to write home about.

I booked a suite with 2 queen beds 1 sofa bed for 5 people thro expedia and the hotel has charged the extra person fee, but upon arrival the sofa bed wasnt ready, pillows and beddings werent prepared for the extra person either. When i call for extra beddings i was notified theres no enough bedding to provide. Besides, the washer ruined my new clothes by spreading some brown ashes after wash that i have to spend lots of time and energy to take those off, luckily its not permanently stained on them. Consistently hearing noisy vibrating ?engine sounds from outside throughout the night, not sure wheres from, i probably sleep like 3hrs Not recommended

The staff, location, restaurant and common areas really nice. The room though, for an astronomical price, lacked blackout curtains or blinds. The building across the street has bright lights on 24/7, so you're sleeping in a brightly lit room. The AC was installed so it was blowing directly onto the bed. The light and the wind combined made it very difficult to sleep at all. For the price tag I would have expected better.

Property has great location. Travel by Roam bus is very accessible. The rooms are big enough to accommodate a family. The hot tub and sauna are great addition to the property and are very well maintained. A microwave in the room would not hurt as an addition ( microwave is located at first floor and there is only 1 available). There are helpful staff and there are also not so helpful. Overall, I’d recommend the property. It is clean and well maintained.

Overall, it was a very nice hotel and in a great location. Staff was helpful in where we could park with our SUV, since it did not fit in the garage. There are some rooms where the elevator does not go which is one of the rooms we had, so we had to walk up a flight of stairs with our luggage.

Terrible room, old and musky smell

We had a wonderful stay at Elk + Avenue Hotel! The hotel was very accommodating from start to finish. One of the biggest perks was the parking—it’s a huge advantage when staying in Banff and made exploring the area so much easier. The location couldn’t be better. It’s right in the heart of town, so you’re within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and everything Banff has to offer. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for restaurants and things to do around town. Our room was very clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view. We were really comfortable throughout our stay. One tip for future guests: if you’d like housekeeping during your stay, be sure to put the room cleaning sign on your door. I accidentally forgot to put mine out, so that’s on me! Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay at Elk + Avenue Hotel again. Highly recommend!
