Lovely

Superb service from the minute I walked in. Nothing was too much trouble. Great help with parking, my two dogs no problem and no extra cost. The room very well-proportioned and the hotel itself just very peaceful. It's got that sort of '90s American hotel charm about it, but what it lacks in modern decor, it makes up for in terms of space and comfort.

Couldn’t fault the hotel itself or the concierge staff, all staff very polite but very slow service. Asked for early check in when booking a week before stay, didn’t get any response until the morning of check in but was not available. Arrived a couple hours early and was able to leave luggage which was handy. Upon arriving 10mins before check in time the room was still not ready and had to wait 30mins after check in time due to their system not accepting my deposit for damages/mini bar. When requesting certain items they were very slow to provide. Very noisy outside at 1am which wasn’t the hotels fault. 2 hours before check out somebody entered our room for some unknown reason, realising it was occupied and left. My partner was on the bed in her underwear!!!

This hotel stay was very pleasant. It has a bright and voluminous grand lobby with dining and beverage facilities. The staff is extremely welcoming and attentive and go above and beyond to enthusiastically respond to requests. The room is bright and spacious with a large bathroom with all amenities! The view of the river is spectacular and the pool house is impressive with extra long pool with multiple lanes for laps. Our stay was brief but overall exceeded expectations!

Not sure this is a 5* hotel. Rooms very dated, ripped bed sheets, wall paper peeling. Real shame as I booked it for a treat for our anniversary. Plenty of 4* hotels in the area which are infinitely better. If you are looking for somewhere special this isn’t the place.

Excellent stay in a hotel with very friendly staff, great room with a view over the river to the city. Very good location for accessing public transport. Had a wonderful stay.

I do not think that you can claim to have a pool if it’s not in the same building, particularly if it’s a rigmarole to use it. Being woken up by a fire alarm because of a mistake is not great. The bed was not very comfortable and room service slow and limited.

This place was amazing, clean, beautiful, amazing staff and secure. I had a friend come see me and they wouldn’t let her up until they confirmed it with me. Top notch place. I am booking again very soon. Amazing!!!!!!!!

Amazing hotel, worth the money for the quality of service and rooms. River view was outstanding. Would definitely return ! Not a bad word to say about this .

We needed a place to stay for an unforeseen day and a half layover resulting from a missed flight (airline’s fault). We got there and just needed to sleep after the horrible travel day we had. They let us extend our late checkout until 3pm. 3pm!!!! I’d never heard of it and it was so welcomed. Also, love the access to Virgin Active pool (where James Bond Skyfall filmed a scene). Hotel room was spacious, the bed had comfy pillows clad in fine silky Egyptian cotton. Our free breakfast was delicious!!! They have their croissants supplied by Delice de France and were so delicious!!! A bit on the pricey side for a quick stay but glad we did it. It reset my attitudw about London again. Will stay again for sure.
