This hotel was all about location and fabulous breakfast. If you are going to stay here, you have to keep in mind that you will be traveling into Venice via water and then uneven ground and bridges with your luggage. The hotel is a labrynth of corridors and steps ... also a challenge with luggage. The room was comfortable enough. There was a kitchen, but no plates, knives or forks ... nothing actually, not even a jug for hot water. The bathroom was fine.

Me parece que lo del tour Sta de más es solo un enganche para que la gente compre cosas en murano y si no compras te devuelven a la isla pero no te dejan donde te recogieron

Mattress damaged, Room smell like long time no one's living in. Stove top no power. No pan or something to cook Window broken. Room service not good, no telephone. Can't call front desk No cups to drink Hot water. Just few little nylon cups

Excellent location for all the attraction and restaurants.

The hotel is very close to San Marco square with easy access to vaparetto, water taxi, and tour of the basilica and palace. The mattresses and bedding should be upgraded.

San Marco Palace was a very convenient place to stay. Mattresses and bedding should be updated however the room was clean and presentable.

Older hotel, very charming. Great location close to everything. Our room was a suite with a bedroom, living room and bath. Bedroom had no plugs for phone, bed was almost on the floor and the pillows were just the worst. Older bathroom but it was clean. No washcloths provided. Overall, it was good and we loved the location.

The hotel is less than 5 mins walk to San Marks, very convenient location. Water ferry and water taxi are less than 10 minutes walk. A lot of shops and restaurants and the walk at night next to water was very relaxing.

Great location and spacious room. WiFi didn’t work, lacked hospitality, mattress was old, springy and uncomfortable

Everything, including the breakfast, was wonderful. My only suggestion is to amend the hotel name listing. We walked in circles looking for “San Marco Palace” but the sign outside says “Hotel Royal San Marco”

It’s not a king size bed it is actually two bed together. I did NOT like that.

The hotel was beautiful. Our room looked out over a canal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was over the top!

The apartment I stayed in was very large. It has a rustic feel with older decor / furniture as described. The breakfast was included and had good selection but was very busy in the mornings. The location was great very close to all the tourist attractions and not too far to walk from the boat with suitcases.
