Ideal location - nice to find a hotel with garden and grounds within the concrete jungle of outer London! - and plenty of parking. We were happy with our room, which was spacious, clean and tidy. Good breakfast with plenty of choice and nice coffee! The staff were very nice. It was very nice to be able to wander around the garden/grounds, albeit we felt it was lacking a little in maintenance. We'd be happy to use this hotel again as, at a weekend, and with our Expedia loyalty discount, the price stacked up pretty well against your Premier Inns or Travelodges, and a much nicer environment.

I’d honestly give them more stars than 5 if I could! Fantastic hotel and the staff were the nicest I have ever come across in a hotel, they made us feel so welcomed! The property is absolutely beautiful and charming and they have lovely clean rooms!

Lovely hotel, gorgeous grounds, very kind, helpful and good natured staff team. Lots of parking, not far by taxi to Stanmore Underground at the end of the Jubilee line. Close to the M1 but outside ULEZ. Good breakfast. Highly recommended

Unfortunately, not a wink of sleep due to the most uncomfortable bed I have ever had in a hotel, it was just awful, and very old (room 18) sank in the middle and could feel the springs.

The hotel is in a great location for me as I used to live in the area and it’s perfect for catching up with friends. It is well away from the road so lovely and quiet and about 30 minute walk to a railway station; fine for me as I had transport. There is plenty of parking though if an event is on, car park space can be limited but they allow parking on grass. The room I stayed in needed updating and because of that needed to be scrupulously clean; unfortunately cobwebs can suggest otherwise. Staff, I spoke to, were polite, professional and seemed eager to help though unfortunately I had to ask three times for an hairdryer. Despite any negative comments, I would stay there again.

We arrived late but it wasn't an issue. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our top floor room was very clean with a really comfortable mattress and pillows, we didn't want to get up in the morning. Breakfast was varied and the full English was superb. A beautiful building which oozes character, set in fabulous grounds with free parking. We will definately be returning when we visit London again.

The rooms were quiet, comfortable and spacious. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The breakfast was well-prepared and good value for money. There was ample parking and Wembley Stadium was just a £35 Uber away. The hotel exuded a classy and historic feel.

I liked the ambience, style, the grounds, free parking a big plus.A big positive the staff especially Joanne who actually has a personality. Overall I would most definitely return few niggles, the menus are tatty and dull, the alcohol is well overpriced £10 pint of perona Cold plates at breakfast .But still a real treat to stay there.Thankyou

The hotel looks great it's the little things that let them down. Breakfast can be chaotic especially if there is a function. Paintwork could be attended to, decor no longer matches the character of the house. It could be a great venue.

The room was very clean with shower gel and body lotion in the bathroom. The breakfast was really good… a great selection of yogurt, fruit, cereals and cooked items . The staff were extremely polite, kind and helpful. Jo the receptionist went above and beyond to assist us as did the staff at breakfast. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! 😊

I stayed overnight in a double room and left before breakfast. The room was quite dated and weirdly the mattress was much bigger then the bed so if you sat on the edge you started to slide off.
