The hotel staff were super polite and helpful. The food was amazing and the beach was out of this world

What an amazing hotel! The staff were exceptional and catered to every need. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best buffet breakfast experiences that I have enjoyed in Italy (bonus: there is a made to order omelette option. The hotel has a dedicated beach. Staff there were also very helpful.

Beautiful full sized pool, beautiful landscaping, excellent sand beach with warm water and full service beach restaurant. Very good service. Excellent food in the main restaurant. Well located. We want to come back again.

Hotel has a relaxing vibe it did not feel like a 5 star property resort and not anything like a Palace. It was more of golf, county vibe, the hotel lobby needs a renovation, but the SPA was amazing. I enjoyed the steam, outdoor pool, relaxation room. The dining room was elegant and overall they tried to be as accommodating as possible. Breakfast was good. Their beach was amazing! One of the best parts of their property. They also had parking for our EV, and charging. They had a really well maintained tennis court too. The pool was nice, I did not go in but my partner did. He enjoyed it. This hotel is not located on the Beach or marina but they offer a shuttle to their private beach club and that works out amazingly well. I would recommend having your own vehicle to get around. The Beach club is all set up with guest given a private cabana, chairs, umbrella plush towels. Amazing pizza and salad bar, ristaurante for Lunch. Overall enjoyed my stay. I found the area to be beautiful and relaxing. I could have stayed longer. The only issue was upon my checkout, requesting things in advance and did not receive the bill the night before. I would stay in the property again and recommend.

An outstanding, properly Italian, hotel. Excellent food, well-trained and friendly staff, comfortable well-appointed rooms. You will struggle to find anything better !

Hôtel Relais & Châteaux avec un excellent service. La restauration est très bien de même que les vins. Navette efficace pour le club de la plage. Belle piscine et aménagement extérieurs. Le seul hic, rien à voir ou faire dans les alentours même pas de restos. Parfait pour s'y reposer même si c'est un hôtel familial. J'y retournerais.

Very relaxing place

This is a Relais & Chateau, and the staff is as responsive as this expects. Rooms are nice if a bit dated. Pool area is good. Spa has a whirlpool, jacuzzi, and wet & dry saunas available on request but monitored to ensure they’re not too busy. Dining was excellent. I am celiac/gluten-free and staff ensured I was kept safe. Beach facility is a short shuttle ride (on request) from the hotel. All is nicely laid out and ready. It was a bit reduced by the lateness in the season. We would visit again.

The hotel is a bit dated but they have paid excellent attention to updates. It felt a bit like being in the islands (Hawaii, Bermuda, Nevis) where the grand spots are out of touch but we’ll maintained and salt and sand are sort of fixtures. The staff were exceptional, the attention to detail very high, and the location—grounds, bar, and beach—were well manicured and lovely. It’s not in the most convenient location as Punta Als has very few restaurants (though I was there off-season) and limited commercial spaces (the one small grocery store closed at 1pm).

Amazing location and wonderful staff.

Ho trascorso una splendida settimana in questo hotel, che consiglio per una vacanza rilassante ed un'esperienza sensoriale del gusto. L’hotel è ideale per coppie e anche per famiglie. Ha una palestra molto bella e ben attrezzata con Technogym. Benché la struttura sia un po’ classica, la qualità del servizio è il vero punto di forza, oltre alla bellissima spiaggia privata con canoe a disposizione e bar/ ristorante sulla spiaggia. Il servizio è il vero punto di forza, è davvero top: lo staff molto preparato e professionale, ti fa sentire coccolato e non lascia nulla al caso. L’equipe di baristi sardi: Francesco, Alessandro, Daniele sono creativi e preparano cocktail favolosi. Lasciatevi consigliare. Hanno alcune proposte “signature” molto particolari. Abbiamo provato i cocktail per l’ aperitivo, che sono accompagnati da un ricco assortimento di deliziosi stuzzichini. Il Bellini merita un applauso perché qui lo fanno in modo eccezionale, con materie prime di altissima qualità. Da provare assolutamente! Anche il ristorante merita una nota di elogio perché la carta è molto interessante e le pietanze bilanciate e gustose. Il maître sa come far sentire gli ospiti a casa col suo staff. Alla SPA ho provato i massaggi di Roberta, esperta del metodo Renata França, che consiglio vivamente per rigenerare mente e corpo e sentirsi leggeri e con la pelle compatta. Ci tornerò sicurante e spero già a settembre.

I recommend this hotel for a relaxing and active holiday. They provide a nice gym and some water sport facilities. There’s a beautiful golf court close by. I strongly recommend to try the restaurant and the bar for a tasty experience! The staff is very professional, they make you feel pampered and leave nothing to chance. Francesco and his team of bartenders are creative and prepare fabulous cocktails with fresh raw materials. Let them advise you. They have some very special "signature" proposals and the cocktails are accompanied by a rich assortment of delicious snacks at aperitif time. The Bellini deserves a big shout-out but the list of cocktails is long and satisfies all preferences. The restaurant deserves also a special note of merit, because the menu is very interesting and the dishes are tasty and proposed in a creative and scenographic way. Ask the maître for any advice. At the SPA I had Roberta's massages, an expert in the Renata França method, which I highly recommend. There are promotions at off-peak times. It’s been a fantastic week. I’ll surely come back.

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The restaurants and private beach are the strongest assets. The staff at the restaurant did a great job. The only con is the lack of information on timing and pricing. It’s not clear when each restaurant is open and how what the pricing felt random. We paid more when ordering less at the restaurant.

The Gallia Palace is a beautiful hotel and the service was phenomenal. The only issue was on follow-on prices - the beach access and dinner were both quite pricey.

Great hotel with amazing beach ammenities.

This is an excellent 5 star hotel. Beautiful rooms, pool and grounds. All staff are very attentive. Good range and quality of food buffet breakfast. Buggy / minivan transfer available to beach (5 mins) which is wonderfully clean and sandy with deck chairs, sun beds and umbrellas ready for guests. Changing huts also available. Attentive life guard on duty throughout the day. Kayaks and pedalos are also available. The hotel beach-restaurant serves a wonderful array of food from pizzas to buffet with grilled fish. Wonderful puddings. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant in the evening and found a particularly good local restaurant in the nearby urbanisation. We also explored the port area but there is little there to entice you back. The price reflects its 5 star billing; that said, we booked well in advance and got a very good deal for a stay in the middle of August.

Punta Ala is an ideal venue for a coastal vacation with all the facilities which might reasonably be expected, but with the added benefit of being within easy driving distance of some of the most remarkable hilltop towns in Italy. It would be difficult to find fault in the hotel facilities, but it is only right to particularly note the key highlights of the hotel, which includes the extremely diligent, helpful and attentive staff, high standard of the food offer and the relaxation afforded by all the Public Areas, such as the piano bar, pool terraces and gardens. We will return.
