Great breakfast. Large, comfortable rooms with good a/c; two nice pools and beautiful grounds in a great position within walking distance of downtown Paarl but with a secluded feel

Whilst hilly the property tried their best to accommodate disabled guests.

Staff were amazing, food was divine, room was absolutely perfect - we could have stayed there for a very long time!

Lovely stay overall. The setting is beautiful and very relaxing. Breakfast was made to order and consistently excellent, and we really enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting each day at 5:30pm—a lovely touch that added to the experience. The bathrooms, while very clean, could benefit from some modernising and refurbishment. One small note: pool service was a bit slow, and there is a tray charge and tip automatically included with pool drink orders. The amount is minimal, but it would be helpful if this were made clear prior to ordering, or simply included in the drink prices. Overall, a wonderful stay and a place we would happily return to.

The staff rumaged theough our belongings. They made no effort to contact us beforehand. Ask the management, did you contact me by phone or email before you went through my belongings, yes or no? They will respond with an evasive answer because the truth is their staff opened closed suitcases and moved around our items. This was UNPROFESSIONAL and SECURITY VIOLATION… i would recommend you stay at any other hotel in beautiful paarl and avoid this place at ALL COSTS! Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

The Grande Roche is a wonderful place with such kind, happy and thoughtful management and staff. In particular thank you to Marchello, Denai and Veena for making my stay so comfortable - you are wonderful people! The whole vibe is very chilled and friendly. The views out onto the grounds and vineyards are stunning - the landscaping and gardening give a sense of luxury and connection with nature. I really loved the sense of calm. The room was beautful, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of cooked to order choices, and I will miss dining next to the fire in the evenings - the chef was amazing! Thank you to all the staff at Grande Roche - keep up the amazing work!

Exceptional service from the friendly staff across every aspect of our stay. The property was peaceful and spacious. Providing an excellent place to slow down and rest.

The restaurant view was quite beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and pleasurable staff. A unique experience we’d recommend to anyone interested in enjoying a quiet romantic weekend. Would definitely return.

We had an amazing two nights there. The hotel staff were amazing! The food was top notch. You will not regret staying here. Tons of old world charm and hospitality.

We had a duplex room, plenty of space and had everything we needed. Breakfast overlooking the vines was excellent.

Good quiet place to rest and relax. Only minus are the beds, not comfortable at all! They could do with a mattress topper! Other than that, I give a 5 star for everything else.
