Really good hotel great location

Doors need seeing to. Fire doors, bedroom doors need to have a slow closing fitted to them constant banging doors throughout our stay. Rooms could do with some update they are clean but outdated and paint peeling away.

Not impressed with the check-in policy. Charging an extra £10 per hour before 4pm. Room ready but trying to fleece the customer.

Shower a bit too hot however I adjusted the hot/cold knob but didn’t work at all! Overall it was ok!

Check in for this hotel is 16:00 which I didn't realise at that time. The room was okay in terms of cleanliness and the bathroom had hairs in the bathtub. The tv was damaged had a green line going through. Only had interaction with one staff member who seemed nice at reception. I would never book the dragonfly again and avoid rhe Surya Hotels altogether.

Another livery stay at the Dragonfly. The best thing about this hotel is the price and close proximity to Bury St Edmund’s town centre. The staff were very attentive and the rooms clean and comfortable. Lots of free parking and fast taxi service. It doesn’t have lots of amenities like swimming pool, golf course etc., but if you want somewhere like a Premier Inn then it’s great. A lot more people should consider this hotel as the cost of other hotels nearby seems to be increasing and this hotel chain is fair on price. We have not eaten here, so I can’t comment of the food.

All round good stay, clean tidy and friendly staff. Ample breakfast - all at a great price

No AC and room was so hot, no lift and had a heavy suitcase and lots of stairs, room service menu limited, missing items that I had to ask for. Room furniture old and dated, bad smell when you opened your room door. Would not stay again.

It was okay nothing spectacular. But I had a comfortable sleep . Couldn’t adjust the heating so the room was a bit too hot . Also ordering room service meant walking to reception which when u are alone and wanting a drink was a bit uncomfortable. But thanks

The check in staff had already checked us in as they had misheard the name of the guest checking in before us. At the bar I was asked To pay the bill before even being served our drinks (no option to add to the room). The room was clean and comfortable albeit a little tatty and would benefit from a freshen up.

Certain things unavailable for breakfast but overall very nice and the coffee from the machine was great. Clean room. Great bathroom and they gave us a room specifically with a bath which was lovely of them. Lovely grounds and very good parking which is free. 20 minute walk to town. I’d definitely stay again.

Easy check in ,very good room as needed special request as on crutches was met . Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice self service ,

No complaints about this hotel. A very comfortable stay.
