All around it was good but they need bigger bed choices.

I arrived early but was able to check in as my room was ready. The young lady on reception was excellent and showed me where I could park my motorcycle. The hotel uses a barrier and ticket system you have to pay €10 for parking overnight. Room was great although the extractor fan in the bathroom wasn’t working. I ate at the hotel in the evening, food and staff was as expected and as with other places in Ireland I had a blackcurrant squash for free.

While the staff were very kind, the property was not clean and well maintained. Stains on the furniture and bathtub, dirt around the bathtub and toilet. The food at the restaurant was not good. Our table of four did not enjoy our meals, and had to send food back multiple times.

Was really happy with my stay. Staff were great, especially in the restaurants. Food was really good, both breakfast and dinner. Rooms were a good size and had everything you needed. Would definitely stay again.

We previously stayed at this hotel and chose to come back because we had such a good experience, but the second stay was not great. We were completely ignored at check-in and had to use the “make your own key” check-in machine. We also chose this hotel because it said it had laundry facilities. They don’t have a do-it-yourself facilities, they have a desk drop-off where they send it out at 6:00am and you get the clean laundry back the next day. The woman at the desk was really snooty while explaining the situation and called my teen a “little boy” which he did NOT appreciate. She did, however, tell us where the closest laundry facility was. There were also only 2 towels, glasses and waters when there were 4 occupants (that was one of the touches I really appreciated about our previous stay, they had 5 of everything for our group of 5) and when I went to the desk to ask for more the man at the desk who had switched out with the earlier woman, seemed incredibly bothered when I asked for 2 more towels. The man who dropped them off to our room later was nice, though.

I was really disappointed when I found out breakfast wasn’t included, but the room was clean, the bathtub large and the staff had taken the time to set up the couch bed and get enough water, glasses and towels for our entire party. I really appreciated that attention to detail.

Excellent hotel. Clean. Helpful and kind staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness of room was very poor, found hairs in the bath, on the sink on the floor and on the bed sheets. There was also sharp nails or tacks sticking out of the carpet which was very unsafe especially as we had or baby that is starting to crawl. The only positive we could take was the manager of the restaurant at breakfast was so welcoming and accommodating to us she was a pleasure to deal with.

We had a great stay at the Maldron Hotel Newlands Cross. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. There was a mixup with our room which the front desk solved right away. The maintenance staff were prompt when we had any help. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. Although the hotel is not in the city centre there is a bus stop not too far away and it is not a long ride into Dublin. The scenery along the way is interesting. There is a grocery stop right next door which was convenient. We would highly recommend the Maldron when staying in Dublin.

Whilst I spent my time at the Maldron hotel I found my time excellent and I would highly recommend to anyone and friends also. 10 miles out of Dublin City I couldn't of asked for a nicer hotel the staff were really good and helpful at all times. I would definitely go again to the Maldron

Really friendly amd helpful staff. Rooms are well kept with plenty of room. Good selection of meals amd drinks in the bar. All for a reasonable price .

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The dinner and breakfast was delicious.
